Who it's for
Travelers eligible for Morocco's electronic visa on the business track. That means nationals of a set list of countries applying on an ordinary passport, and, whatever their nationality, holders of a qualifying residence permit or a qualifying multiple-entry visa from a country on Morocco's approved list.
Permitted activities
Business meetings, conferences, trade fairs, and exploring partnerships in Morocco. It does not grant work authorization, so paid or remunerated employment is not permitted on it.
What you'll need to prove
Alongside your passport scan and photo, you show why you are traveling for business, with an invitation letter from a Moroccan company, a business contract, or a conference or event registration. Applicants qualifying through a residence permit or a foreign visa upload that document too.
Entry points
Air, sea and land. The authorization itself does not restrict which port of entry you use.
Good to know
Your visa is an electronic authorization linked to your passport number and checked against the passport at the border, with no sticker issued in advance. There is no extension mechanism, and travelers attending a registered event have a separate application track of their own.
Validity
Valid for 6 months
Entry
Single entry
Length of stay
Stay up to 30 days per entry

  • You did a great job by getting two of my visas in a timely matter. But the third one linger until I requested that you check with the Government Agency to see what was the holdup. They requested that I resend the Visa page, then I received the Visa the following day. More diligence to details is needed. Thank you for you service. I would use you again.

Morocco visa FAQs

Quick answers to the most common questions about the Morocco Business eVisa.

Still have questions?

Our visa experts are available 24/7 on chat, email, and WhatsApp.

Do I need a visa to travel to Morocco?

It depends on your nationality. Citizens of approximately 70 countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and most of the EU, are visa-exempt and can stay for up to 90 days with just a passport. If your country is not on the exempt list, you likely need an eVisa or a traditional sticker visa from an embassy. The Moroccan government has expanded the Business eVisa eligibility to three main categories: Category A: Specific nationalities (e.g., India, Israel, Thailand) who can apply online with just an ordinary passport. Category B: Individuals with a valid residence permit (valid for 180+ days) from the UK, USA, Canada, EU, Australia, or Japan. Category C: Individuals holding a valid, non-electronic, multiple-entry visa (valid for 90+ days) from the UK, USA, Schengen Area, Canada, or Australia.

How will I receive the Morocco Business eVisa?

Once approved, your eVisa is sent directly to your email address as a PDF. While it is digitally linked to your passport, Moroccan authorities require a printed copy to be presented at the border for stamping. If you applied through iVisa, you can also find your PDF document in your dashboard.

How long does the Morocco Business eVisa processing take?

Government processing can take up to 8 business days. With iVisa, you choose your processing speed at checkout, and the option you pick is shown with its delivery time before you pay.

Can I extend my Moroccan eVisa?

No. The Business eVisa itself cannot be extended beyond the 30-day limit. If you need to stay longer for business, you must leave the country and apply for a new visa or visit the local Moroccan Police (Préfecture) to inquire about residency options if applicable.

What happens if my Moroccan eVisa application is denied?

The most common reasons for denial are a missing invitation letter or using a supporting visa/residency permit that does not meet the 90/180-day validity requirements. If denied, you will need to address the specific reason and re-apply. iVisa's review process is designed specifically to catch these errors before they reach the government. We also offer optional denial protection.

Why travelers choose iVisa

On your own

  • The official portal splits the application across six separate stages, from an email check and an eligibility test through to attachments, with no visible progress indicator.
  • The business-proof requirement accepts an invitation letter, a contract or an event registration, and which one you need becomes clear late in the flow.
  • The only channel is a contact form, with no phone number or email address listed, and the portal's own FAQ tab renders no content.
  • One guided form from start to finish, with your progress saved as you go.
  • We tell you exactly which business document to bring before you pay, so a missing letter does not stop you at the last step.
  • Round-the-clock multilingual support by chat, phone and email.
