The Norway Schengen Visa is a short-stay visa that allows eligible non-EU nationals to travel to Norway and other Schengen countries for up to 90 days within a 180-day period for purposes such as tourism, business, visiting family, or transit.
Applicants must submit the following documents:
🛂 Passport: Issued within the last 10 years, valid for at least 3 months after the planned exit from the Schengen Area, and with at least 2 blank pages
📸 Photos: Recent biometric passport photos
🗺️ Travel itinerary: Planned dates of travel and purpose of visit (tourism, business, visiting family, transit)
✈️ Proof of onward or return travel: Confirmed or reserved return flight ticket
🏨 Proof of accommodation: Hotel reservation or invitation letter with full address
💰 Proof of sufficient financial means: Recent bank statements, payslips, or sponsorship letter
🏠 Proof of ties to country of residence: Employment letter, student enrollment, business registration, or proof of residence
🩺 Travel medical insurance: Minimum coverage of €30,000 valid throughout the Schengen Area
ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) is not a visa. It is a pre-travel authorization that will be required for visa-exempt travelers entering Norway and the Schengen Area.
