How to perform an Australia ETA check

Updated on Feb 16, 2024

Many nationalities can apply for an Australia ETA instead of going to the nearest embassy to get a visa. The ETA is easier and faster to obtain, and iVisa can help you get one if you are eligible. To learn whether or not you qualify for an ETA, all you need to do is use our smart Visa Checker. You can find it in the top right corner of the website. After you located it, click on the feature, you'll notice that there are two drag-down bars/menu. On the left menu, you have to select your country of origin, in the right one, you must choose Australia as your destination country. Once you do it, you can be able to see if you qualify for an ETA or not, and if you do, you are redirected to the application page. It is as simple as that.

visa for australia and surfing

iVisa provides a short and simple application process. All you need is a passport and some information, and you can get the Australia ETA in as little as 6 hours. The application form is easy to go through as well, and if you need some help with it, iVisa puts at your disposal a support service that you can contact 24/7. The service is free of charge.

After you apply for your Australia ETA, you may want to check its status. It is true that the timeframe for your application process is short. The lengthiest is 2 days, while the shortest is just 6 hours. However, if you are looking for some reassurance that the process is moving forward, iVisa gives you the possibility to check the status of your application.

iVisa account

The first thing that you need to know is that iVisa creates an account for you right after you make the payment during the second step of the application form. Once the account is generated, you can log into it and check the status of your Australia ETA application process. Just click on the application, and all the information you need is displayed in just a second.

If you are having trouble using the account, you can contact iVisa’s support service. However, it is not that challenging to use. You will notice that once your account is generated, you receive a confirmation e-mail. Inside, you will see a link that redirects you to a page in which you must change the password. Make sure that you set a passcode that you remember easily. Once you do that, you are ready to use the account and perform the Australia ETA check.

What you must remember is that your activity on the account makes no difference for your Australia ETA. It does not change anything as far as your ETA is concerned. It will arrive even if you do not access the account as well.

Lastly, the account iVisa generates for you will hold all your information for future reference. That way, in the future, if you want to apply for another visa or ETA, we will already have all your information. Rest assured that your data is safe with us. Nevertheless, documents with a validity term will be asked again. For example, if your passport expires, we will ask for the new one.

Hopefully, the information above helps you perform an Australia ETA check. For further information or if you need some help, do not hesitate to contact us.
