  • The Covid Digital Certificate is part of the required documentation you will need to enter Cyprus, it DOES NOT replace a visa. If your country requires a visa, the immigration officers will ask for your visa when you enter Cyprus. Keep in mind some nationalities will require a paper visa. If that is the case, we suggest you contact the local embassy.

  • Cyprus entry requirements vary depending on the classification of the country you're traveling from (green, orange, red, or gray). Only passengers from gray countries are required to quarantine on arrival. If you have an eligible COVID-19 vaccine certificate you are not required to present negative test results. See the FAQs below for full details.

No, you don't. COVID-19 vaccination passports or certificates are not mandatory to enter Cyprus at this time. However, if you hold a COVID-19 vaccine certificate issued by the following states, you don’t need to be tested or quarantine: EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Israel, United Kingdom, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Belarus, Serbia, Qatar, Bahrein, United States of America, Armenia, Georgia, Canada Kuwait, and China. Since information may change quickly, we advise you to follow up on the latest Cyprus travel updates and/or contact your local embassy.

  • Fully vaccinated travelers, regardless of their nationality and country of departure, are exempted from the testing and quarantine requirements. However, they need to hold a valid certificate of vaccination issued by the following states: EU Member States, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Israel, United Kingdom, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Ukraine, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt, Belarus, Serbia, Qatar, Bahrein, United States of America, Armenia, Georgia, Canada Kuwait, and China. Accepted vaccines are Pfizer/BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Janssen, Sputnik V, Sinopharm, or Sinovac. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from testing requirements.
  • Travelers arriving from green countries do not need to present a negative test result nor quarantine on arrival. Green countries are Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Italy, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Finland, Monaco, Vatican City, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Australia, Jordan, Israel, New Zealand, and Singapore.
  • Travelers coming from orange countries are required to have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure. These travelers do not have to quarantine. Orange Category countries are Ireland, Netherlands, Greece, Luxembourg, Belgium, Andorra, Azerbaijan, North Macedonia, United States of America, Japan, Canada, Qatar, China (including Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan), Lebanon, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and Serbia.
  • Travelers coming from "Red Category" countries are required to have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure and must undergo further testing on arrival in Cyprus. Travelers need to quarantine until the test result is issued. Red Category countries are Spain, Portugal, San Marino, Egypt, Albania, Armenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Georgia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Kuwait, Belarus, Montenegro, Moldova, Bahrein, Brunei, Ukraine, Rwanda, Russia, and Thailand.
  • Travelers coming from "Grey Category" countries need special permission to enter Cyprus. They are required to have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to departure and quarantine for 14 days. Quarantine time can be shortened to 7 days by testing on the 7th day. Countries that are not mentioned in the green, orange, and red categories are considered as Grey Category.
