  • Valid passport – you will have no issues obtaining a passport, and if you already have one, look at its expiry date.

  • Digital photo of yourself – it is preferable that the photo is as recent as possible. You should not make face gestures in it, and the background should be white. Just scan it and upload it when you are told to.

  • A passport scan of the information page

  • Means of online payment

  • Business card copy and invitation letter – this requirement applies to people who want to go to India on business and apply for an India Business eVisa.

  • Letter from the hospital in India – this is valid for people who apply for an India Medical Visa.

Just remember that the following documents are the most important before applying for your Indian eVisa:

  • Applicant's photo
  • Passport page
  • Last page of passport (if applicable)

How long is the Indian eVisa for Greeks valid?

The validity of your visa is based on the specific category you opt for. Tourists can choose from a 30-day, 1-year, or 5-year visa. The allowed length of stay and the number of entries permitted vary by visa type. How to apply for an India eVisa?

Presently, 25 airports and 5 seaports accept such a document. A different entry point requires a consular visa, which you need to visit the Indian embassy in your area.

This iVisa can only be used at the following airports: Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bagdogra, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswa, Calicut, Chennai, Chandigarh, Cochin, Coimbatore, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Madurai, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Port Blair, Pune, Tiruchirapalli, Varanasi, Thiruvananthapuram, Visakhapatnam.

And the following 5 seaports: Cochin, Goa, New Mangalore, Mumbai, Chennai

How many times can I apply for an India tourist Electronic Visa?

You can apply for 2 eVisas in a given calendar year.

Do I need to get another Indian eVisa for my children ?

Remember that every passenger must apply for an eVisa regardless of their age. This means that also your kids must apply for one separately.
