Purpose: The Ivory Coast eVisa is an electronic travel authorization that lets eligible foreign nationals enter Côte d’Ivoire for short-term stays. Common permitted purposes include tourism, business, and transit. When to apply: It’s recommended to apply at least 2 weeks in advance.

Duration and extensions The Ivory Coast eVisa allows stays of up to 90 days in the country. Extensions may be possible once in Côte d’Ivoire by applying to immigration authorities before the current permission expires.

Entries: The visa is issued as a multiple-entry visa.

Ports of entry: The Ivory Coast eVisa is only accepted at the Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (Port Bouët Airport) in Abidjan.

Delivery format: An approved eVisa is electronically linked to your passport, but travelers are advised to carry a printed copy of the approval PDF when entering the Ivory Coast.

Ivory Coast Transit Visa*

For passengers passing through the Ivory Coast en route, valid for 48 hours from issuance.
