What is the Morocco tourist visa?
The Moroccan Foreign Affairs Department created the Moroccan tourist visa to make the visa application process more manageable. The electronic visa is available to citizens of certain countries planning to travel to Morocco for tourism.
The online visa application form enables travelers to obtain their Morocco travel visa without visiting a Moroccan embassy or consulate.
How long is the Morocco visa valid?
The single-entry online Morocco tourist visa allows visitors to stay for a maximum of 30 days Per Entry from the date of arrival in Morocco. Please note that the Morocco visa must be used within 180 days after issued.
Extending your Morocco visa
If you need to stay longer than thirty days, you can apply for a visa extension at the nearest Moroccan police station. However, this may not guarantee an extension or multiple entries.
Morocco visa requirements for citizens of Bangladesh
All citizens of Bangladesh require a Moroccan tourist visa to enter the country. However, you can only qualify to apply for the e-visa if you also have a Multiple Entry Visa for the US, New Zealand, Schengen zone, Australia, UK, or Ireland that is valid for more than 90 days.
You will also need to prove you have a return ticket, hotel reservation, and at least $50 for each day of your stay.
Morocco visa requirements for minors
The above visa requirements apply to everyone, including minors. The parents or legal guardians must submit the Morocco visa application on behalf of the minor, as they cannot apply for themselves. Each traveler needs their own visa.
Please note that kids who travel alone must present their birth certificate, a letter from their parents, their marriage certificate, or other documents proving their relationship.
Morocco visa requirements for transiting passengers
Those transiting through Morocco do not need a tourist visa or transit visa if they meet all other entry regulations. However, if you intend to leave the airport and go through immigration, you must apply for a Morocco visa.
If you are entering Morocco for reasons other than tourism, please contact your local consulate or embassy. They will guide you through the process for visas like the Moroccan student visa or business visa.
