Do I need a visa to travel to the Philippines?
It depends on your nationality. Travelers can stay without a visa for:
- Up to 30 days: Citizens of the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and most EU countries

What documents do I need to enter the Philippines?

Can I extend my stay in the Philippines beyond the initial entry period?
The Bureau of Immigration confirms that non-visa-required tourists admitted for 30 days can apply for an initial extension of 29 days. After that first extension, subsequent extensions are available in increments of 1 month or 2 months, or via the 6-month Long-Stay Visitor Visa Extension (LSVVE).
The 36-month maximum applies to non-restricted (visa-free) nationalities; visa-required nationals are capped at 24 months.
