Cambodia eVisa

This is the most convenient visa option for tourists traveling to Cambodia. It’s 100% online, ideal for short visits, and accepted at major entry points like Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, and Sihanoukville airports.

The eVisa allows a single entry and a stay of up to 30 days. It’s valid for 90 days from the date of issue.

Cambodia Business eVisa

This eVisa is perfect for travelers attending conferences, client meetings, or exploring business opportunities in Cambodia. It functions similarly to the tourist eVisa but is used for business-related purposes.

It’s valid for 90 days and allows a 30-day stay on a single entry.

Cambodia e-Arrival

The e-Arrival is Cambodia’s newest digital entry form that replaces the traditional paper immigration card. It’s mandatory for all travelers entering Cambodia by air and must be completed before boarding.

It doesn’t replace a visa but complements your entry documents, streamlining the arrival process.

Visa on Arrival*

Available at most international airports and some land border checkpoints, the Visa on Arrival is commonly used by travelers who didn’t apply online in advance. It’s available for tourism and business purposes.

This visa allows a 30-day stay and is single-entry. You may have to wait in line and provide supporting documents on arrival.

*Unfortunately, we currently don’t offer the Visa on Arrival.

Tourist Sticker Visa (Type-T)*

This traditional visa is placed in your passport and can be applied for at a Cambodian embassy or consulate. It’s suitable for travelers who prefer to apply in person or aren’t eligible for an eVisa.

It allows a stay of 30 days and can be extended once by another 30 days.

*Unfortunately, we currently don’t offer the Tourist Sticker Visa.

Business Sticker Visa (Type-E)*

This visa is for professionals with pre-arranged business in Cambodia. It requires sponsorship by a Cambodian company or organization and is applied for through an embassy or on arrival.

It’s usually valid for 30 days initially and can be extended to 6 or 12 months.

*Unfortunately, we currently don’t offer the Business Sticker Visa.

Student Visa*

Students accepted into Cambodian educational institutions can apply for a student visa, which allows them to stay for the duration of their course. A sponsorship letter from the school is typically required.

This visa is typically issued as a Type-E visa and extended through the Department of Immigration.

Additional visas*

Retirement Visa: This visa is intended for retirees over 55 who want to live in Cambodia long-term. Proof of sufficient income or a pension is usually required, along with a local address. The initial visa is issued as a Type-E visa and can be extended into a retirement extension for up to 12 months.
Employment Visa: This visa is for foreign nationals who have secured a job with a company in Cambodia. It starts as a Type-E visa and must be extended into a long-term work permit by the employer. Additional documents, such as a work contract and tax records, may be needed for the extension.
Courtesy Visa: This is granted to diplomatic staff, government officials, and their dependents, often for official business or missions. It requires prior arrangements with the Cambodian authorities or embassies.
Khmer Visa: Also known as the Cambodia K-Visa, this visa is for people of Khmer descent born abroad who want to return and live in Cambodia. It’s a pathway to permanent stay and is granted on a case-by-case basis. Applicants often need to provide proof of heritage and identity documents.

Cambodia visa policy

Cambodia’s visa policy offers flexible entry options depending on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and the length of stay. Citizens of several ASEAN countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, and Malaysia, can enter Cambodia visa-free for periods ranging from 14 to 30 days. Most other nationalities, including travelers from the United States, Canada, the UK, and EU countries, are eligible for a 30-day stay through a Cambodia eVisa, Visa on Arrival, or e-Arrival Card, with options to extend your stay once in the country.

The Cambodia eVisa is valid for tourism and business purposes and must be used within 90 days of approval. It allows a single entry for a stay of up to 30 days. In addition, Cambodia now requires all international air travelers to submit a digital e-Arrival Card within 7 days prior to their arrival, which replaces the old paper-based immigration forms.

Those planning to work, volunteer, or stay in Cambodia for longer periods can apply for a sticker visa (Type-E visa) through a Cambodian embassy or consulate. This can later be extended and converted into different visa types, such as work, retirement, or student visas, depending on your circumstances.

All visitors must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival and at least one blank page for stamping. Proof of onward travel and accommodation may also be required.
