Do I need a Cambodia e-Arrival Card even if I don't need a visa?
Yes. The e-Arrival Card is a mandatory entry requirement for everyone, including visa-exempt travelers (like ASEAN citizens) and those with an eVisa or Visa on Arrival. It covers immigration, customs, and health declarations which are separate from your visa status.
Do I need a visa for Cambodia?
It depends on your nationality. Visa-free: Citizens of ASEAN countries (e.g., Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia) can enter visa-free for 14–30 days. Visa required: Citizens of most other countries (including the US, UK, and EU) require a tourist visa. You can apply for a Cambodia eVisa online before you travel or get a Visa on Arrival at the airport. Mandatory for all: Regardless of your visa status, the e-Arrival Card is required for all air arrivals.
How will I receive the Cambodia e-Arrival Card?
You will receive a confirmation QR code via email. You must present this QR code to the immigration officer at the airport (Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, or Sihanoukville). We recommend saving a screenshot to your phone for offline access. You can also find a copy of your e-Arrival Card QR code and confirmation in your iVisa dashboard if applied through us.
How long can I stay in Cambodia?
Most tourist visas (T-class) allow for a stay of up to 30 days. However, your maximum allowed stay is determined by the visa you hold or the exemption period allowed for your nationality.
Can I extend my stay in Cambodia?
Yes. A standard 30-day tourist visa can typically be extended once for an additional 30 days at the Department of Immigration in Phnom Penh.
When should I apply for the e-Arrival Card?
The official window for submission is within 7 days before your arrival. We recommend submitting your details to iVisa early so we can process your application exactly when the 7-day window opens. You can also apply for your Cambodian visa and arrival card in one go through iVisa.
Do children/minors need a Cambodia e-Arrival Card?
Yes. Every traveler, including infants and children, must have their own e-Arrival submission. Parents can complete the form on behalf of their children. You can use iVisa's "Add another person" feature to easily manage applications for the whole family in one session, saving time and effort.
Can I reuse my Cambodia e-Arrival Card?
No. It is for single entry/exit only. You must complete a new Cambodia e-Arrival Card registration every time you enter the country by air.
