Mexican visa policy for Filipino citizens
Philippine citizens may enter Mexico without a visa for tourism, business, or transit (up to 180 days) if they hold a valid, multiple-entry visa or permanent residence from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, or any Schengen Area country. If they do not meet these conditions, they must apply for a Mexico Visitor Visa through a Mexican embassy or consulate in the Philippines.
iVisa offers one Mexico entry document for Philippines travelers:
Mexico Tourist Card - Land (FMM): This immigration form is mandatory for Philippine citizens entering Mexico by land. The Tourist Card (Forma Migratoria Múltiple) allows stays of up to 180 days for tourism and must be presented upon entry and exit. It is not a visa.
General Mexico visa requirements for Philippines travelers are:
- Philippine passport valid for at least six months
- Completed visa application form
- Passport-size photo
- Confirmed round-trip flight ticket and accommodation reservation
- Proof of sufficient financial means (such as recent 3 months bank statements)
- Invitation letter (if visiting family/friends or traveling for business)
