They mentioned a levy on tourists so when I was charged extra besides the visa charge I thought it was for the levy instead of faster service which showed other extra charges for fast service.
I don’t know much coz that’s my second time traveling and I have no experience yet
I dislike that I was not able to cancel my Visa purchase within 10 minutes of making the purchase. Know that once you pay, the visa process is immediate with no chance of a refund. Otherwise, the visa was processed quickly without errors.
Filling out the documentation was effortless. However the cost is astronomical! I paid $20.00 Australia’ visa, and New Zealand’s is OVER $200.00!
Not particularly user friendly, but the online help was reasuring and much appreciated.
Easy to apply. price was high for three hours in country. ( from cruise ship to airport)...
It would be useful if you listed everything you would need to complete the forms before the person started the application and had to keep coming back to add more data.
I had difficulty in uploading my photo due to having to convert format
Instructions required going to separate sites such as for photos and did not provide clear links. Entire process took me over two hours. Have ended up with a sheet saying I completed the process but does not look like and official pass. Did I miss something?
I am shocked at the major price hike. And also I am not sure why the visa doesn’t begin when we enter the country. I didn’t my visa ahead of time and it asked me my arrival date so I assumed it would expire 2 years from that date. But it expires 2 years from my application date so I lost 6 weeks out of the 2 years I expected.
Info needed upfront Would have been nice to know passport info and pic were needed to complete application. Had to save and exit twice - secure items - one of which was at home, and the other I had to purchase to upload - because full disclosure wasn't made in the beginning
Adding pictures was a little tricky and I have only received verification for myself abd bI Ed to research why my wife’s verification was not also showing as I put in all the info and paid for her as well.
I found it a bit sneaky, b/c I thought I was accessing the gov't of NZ site. Also, not a lot of assurance as I carelessly typed in my vitals and my passport number and a photo of myself! In retrospect, I'm not sure WHAT I was thinking. Also, the additional charges brought the cost of THIS visa to almost double what my business colleagues got through the gov't site. When I took the photo, there were no guidelines (no sidebar came up) about how to take the photo, so I had to do this all again. No explanation of the fact that it's an e-visa (OK - maybe that should've been obvious!), so I'm only taking your word for it that there will be a linked document when I get to the airport! There better be!! So, yes, all this is MY bad, but I think there's a LOT you could do to make the experience more... reassuring? Remember, people are only gonna do this maybe ONCE in there lifetime, so no amount of explanation can be too much! Thx for the opportunity to vent!
The app was not is to use. Could not access what needed at the time. No place to put in password when entering app. always goes to send a code to email which is not on my phone. Maybe I am just too old for all this technology. Thanks for providing this. Maybe next time I will do better.
No mention of IVL. Still dont know if this has been purchased.
The costs seem so high. I don't think many tourists will go if they have to pay the prices for the ETAs to be processed
There is a expectation that every one has experience with online ‘stuff’ ie uploading photos, but everyone isn’t that proficient using these devices. I found it quite intimidating and worrisome
The site is not very user friendly for more mature adults. It is probably perfect for younger folks.
The cost was much higher than the $37.00 per person that was stated on the website. On the plus side you were very quick to let us that we needed to correct our photos (we forgot about our glasses and the white background). You did an excellent job keeping us informed of the status of our NZeTA
The eTA did not come through in time… I missed my flight. The cost was huge too. In desperation to speed up process I also applied again but this time through the New Zealand website and it only cost me $50 not $300!
It was not easy to get the photos correctly and I was not happy with the $74 charge to conduct business.
1. Getting iVisa: Recently I got the iVisa for Australia through the web. It was a convenient and cheaper solution to get iVisa. However your one seems to be little bit complicated and expensive solution, even required more time.
Process took much longer than initially suggested, weeks instead of the 24 hours claimed, and without any updates unless called to inquire.
Not be able to print the Visa, with many attempts until we paid the $6.95 for each. You should just included it in the price.
I still await my visa for New Zealand (application made on 23 January 2020
It is not working with the Google Chrome, IE 11, and Firefox. Manage to make it work only using MS Edge browser. This is very inconvenient.
All well except last stage. In your intro, you said step 3 would be uploading a scanned passport photo. But after I paid, there was no step 3 to upload. I had to chat and ask why n then uploaded the photos in the chat icon. Teribly inefficient. My honesty will help you. I have a Windows 10 chrome. Thanks
