The Bahamas Travel Health Card is a health screening document that is essential for all travelers who wish to enter the Bahamas. Its purpose is to minimize COVID-19 related health risks for residents and visitors alike. The Health Card does NOT replace a visa. If your nationality requires a visa, we advise you to get in touch with the nearest embassy.

WHO CAN ENTER THE BAHAMAS WITH THIS DOCUMENT
All international travelers aged 18 and over are required to complete the Bahamas Travel Health Card to enter the country. This includes nationals and foreigners alike. If you need a visa to visit the Bahamas then you must obtain it through the embassy too.
OBTAIN THE BAHAMAS TRAVEL HEALTH CARD
To apply for this document, fill in the form with basic information about yourself, your recent health status, and your upcoming stay in the Bahamas. To get the Health Card and to enter the country, you will need a negative COVID-19 test taken no more than 3 days prior to the date of travel.
Fully vaccinated travelers and children aged 2 to 11 can undergo either a PCR or an antigen test, however unvaccinated travelers aged 12 and over can only use a negative PCR test result. Children under the age of 2 are exempt from testing requirements.
Travelers must also have health insurance that covers COVID-19 if they want to enter the country. This will be automatically included in the application and purchase of the Travel Health Card.
DISPLAY THE DOCUMENT

The Bahamas Travel Health Card is a health document you will need to enter the Bahamas. It DOES NOT replace a visa. If your nationality requires a visa, the immigration officers will ask for it when you enter The Bahamas. Keep in mind some nationalities will require a paper visa. If that is the case, we suggest you contact your local embassy.

Fully vaccinated travelers need a negative PCR or antigen test result taken within 3 days before the date of arrival. Unvaccinated travelers and passengers traveling inter-island from Nassau & Paradise Island, Grand Bahama Island, Bimini, Exuma, Abaco, and North and South Eleuthera, including Harbour Island, must have a PCR test result within the same time frame. Antigen test results will only be accepted from fully vaccinated travelers.

Each traveler must complete the Travel Health card to enter the country, or should be named on a family member’s card.

An approved Health Card will receive a green code, and proof of confirmation should be presented at check-in and upon arrival in order to pass the health checks established by the Bahamas Health Authorities.

It is highly recommended that you keep your Health Card with you either as a soft copy (smartphone, tablet, etc.) or as a hard copy.

There aren’t many requirements, but make sure to have all of them in order to avoid any delays. You will need:

- A scanned copy of your passport.
- A valid email address.
