What is the Bahamas tourist visa?
Most travelers planning to visit the Bahamas will need a tourist visa to enter the country. However, this will depend on your nationality. The tourist visa is a document issued by the Bahamas to authorize a traveler to enter the country.
The travel document can either be a Multiple Entry or a Multiple Entry visa. You can apply for this travel document online or through the Bahamas embassy. However, we recommend applying online to avoid the embassy's queues and lengthy wait times. Travelers must present their Bahamas visa at the border or airport on arrival.
Please note that the visa is not the Bahamas travel health form.
How long is the Bahamas tourist visa valid for?
The single-entry visa expires 90 days after arrival after arrival, while a multiple-entry visa can be obtained for 90 days, 6 months, or 12 months. The length of time depends on the purpose of your travel and visa needs.
Remember that to apply for a multiple-entry visa; the Bahamas requires you to have obtained at least three approved single-entry visas before.

COVID-19 Requirements or Restrictions
The government of The Bahamas has relaxed most of its COVID-19 protocols as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) ranked the COVID-19 Travel Risk Advisory Rating for The Bahamas a Level 1.
Thus travelers to the islands will no longer need to apply for a Bahamas Travel Health Visa nor produce a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Please note you may still need to show proof of other vaccinations, such as a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Do I need a COVID-19 test?
From September 2022, the Bahamas has also dropped all COVID-19 testing requirements to enter the country. This is regardless of the vaccination status of the traveler in question.
