How long is the India Tourist Visa valid for?

The India Tourist eVisa for Hungarian citizens is available in various types, each with different validity periods and conditions.

  • 30-day visa: This visa is best for brief visits, allowing two entries, and is valid for 30 days from the issuance date. For instance, if the visa is issued on September 1st, you need to leave India by September 30th, regardless of the actual entry date.

  • 1-year visa: Aimed at those who plan to visit India multiple times in a year. This visa grants multiple entries, with each visit allowed for up to 90 days. Citizens from the US, Canada, and the UK can stay for up to 180 days during each visit.

  • 5-year visa: This visa caters to individuals who want to visit India frequently over five years. Like the 1-year visa, it allows multiple entries, and each stay is capped at 90 days. For US, Canadian, and UK citizens, each stay can be up to 180 days.

The 1-year and 5-year eVisas for India are great for those who want to come and go as they please over an extended period. You can enter India multiple times within the visa’s valid timeframe; just remember to keep each visit within the allowed stay duration.
