When applying for a minor, guardians need to provide additional documents, such as copies of the minor's birth certificate and a consent letter signed by both parents or legal guardians.

These documents are necessary to confirm the relationship between the child and the guardians, ensuring all legal requirements are met for the child's travel to India.

India Medical eVisa validity: How long can I stay in India?

The India Medical eVisa is a multiple-entry visa that allows the holder to enter India up to three times. Each entry permits a stay of up to 60 days in total from the date of arrival in India. The visa itself must be used within 120 days from the date of issuance, meaning travelers must enter India within this period for the visa to remain valid.

Key points to remember about the India Medical eVisa include:

  • Multiple entries: This visa allows up to three separate entries into India.

  • Maximum stay: Each entry allows a 60-day stay in the country.

  • Visa validity: Must enter India within 120 days from the issuance of the visa.

  • Type of entry: It is a multiple-entry visa, ideal for patients needing follow-up visits.

These terms ensure travelers can plan their medical visits accordingly, with enough flexibility for multiple consultations or treatment sessions within a two-month period per visit.

Can I extend my India Medical eVisa?

The India Medical eVisa typically cannot be extended. Travelers must plan their medical treatment within the stipulated duration of each visit, which is up to 60 days per entry.
