How long is my Malaysia eVisa valid for?
The Malaysia Tourist eVisa is valid for 6 months from the date of issue, and it allows a single- or multiple entries into the country (depending on your nationality and selection). You can stay for a maximum of 30 consecutive days.
How long does it take to get a Malaysia eVisa?
Malaysian Immigration explicitly warns travelers on their portal to apply for an eVisa at least 14 days (two weeks) before departure. In practice it's usually much faster. Can I enter Malaysia with just the Tourist eVisa, or do I need other documents?

If you fail to complete it before arrival, immigration officers typically have to do an extra check and/or you'll be required to complete it on your smartphone before clearing passport control. Is the Malaysia eVisa extendable if I want to stay longer than 30 days?
No, the Tourist eVisa cannot be extended. If you want to stay longer, you must exit Malaysia before the 30 days expire and apply for a new visa from outside the country.
