Are you dreaming of soaking up the sun on the pristine beaches of the Philippines or exploring its lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage?

For Indian passport holders looking to travel to the Philippines, understanding the visa requirements is the first step towards planning that dream vacation.

Fill me in

In this article, we’ll explain how to get a Philippines Visa from India and the requirements.

Do Indian nationals need a visa for the Philippines?

Yes.

Indian travelers looking to immerse themselves in the beauty of the Philippines must apply for a Visitor Visa.

How to apply for the Philippines Visitor Visa from India

Currently, we don’t offer this visa.

To apply, we recommend visiting the Philippines government website, entering India as your nationality when prompted, and following the instructions for the tourist visa (or another visa that matches your travel purpose).

The application process involves applying at the Philippine Embassy in New Delhi or any consular office that processes visa applications. The prerequisites for a smooth application include:

  • A valid return ticket or onward journey ticket.

  • A passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your intended stay.

Unfortunately, the visa on arrival or eVisa options are currently not available for Indian citizens, underscoring the importance of applying for your visa ahead of time.

Other required Philippines travel documents for Indians: eArrival Card

In addition to the tourist visa, there's another key document Indian travelers must be aware of when planning their journey to the captivating islands of the Philippines: the Philippines eArrival Card (also known as the eTravel Registration form).

This card is meant to monitor the health of all travelers by asking if they show any symptoms of health issues and stating their contact info in case of an emergency.

Ensure you register for this card before you go, on top of a visa through one of the following ways:

  • Register for the eArrival Card through iVisa for a quick and simple process. We’ll make sure it follows all government criteria.

  • Register for the eArrival Card through the official government website.

Philippines Embassy or Consulate in India

If you have any questions about the visa application process, we recommend contacting the consular services nearest to you.

Here are the details of the Philippines Embassy in New Delhi:

  • Address: 50-N, Nyaya Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, Delhi 110021, India.

  • Phone: +91 11 2688 9091.

Or find another Philippines Embassy or Consulate through our Embassy Finder.
