The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is a legal permission that authorizes you to visit Sri Lanka and only for tourism reasons.

How long can visitors with a Malaysian passport stay in Sri Lanka with a Tourist ETA?

Visitors carrying a Sri Lanka Tourist ETA will be able to stay in Sri Lanka territory for only 30 days in Total. In addition to that, keep in mind that this ETA can not be used to search for a job.

What are the documents required to apply?

You need to make sure that you meet all the requirements. The list of things you need is not long. You just need a couple of documents and some information. Here is the list:

  • Valid passport – check if your passport has validity for another six months from the first day that you are in the nation of Sri Lanka.

  • Valid email address – ensure that the email you will use is valid. Remember that every detail that we have about your application would be sent there.

How does the Sri Lanka Tourist ETA work?

The Sri Lanka Government is the only institution in charge of granting electronic visas.

Only if they are older than 12. If your kids are under 12 years old, they will not need an ETA to be able to travel to that country.
