Required Documents to Apply
Togo is a small, narrow country in West Africa that has a 56-km coastline on the Atlantic Ocean as its southern border. What you should know about Togo is that it is one of the loveliest countries in West Africa. The roads are satisfactory, the people are welcoming, and the beaches are white and clean. Not to mention that people are incredibly welcoming. You can start your trip in the country’s capital, Lome, and you can take a trip to Togoville and Lake Togo. Up north, you can go hiking or trekking in Kpalime, which is a region dominated by hills. The scenery is stunning.
Before you leave for Togo, you need to check whether or not you need to apply for a visa. Lucky for you, the visa policy of Togo is lenient, and you have it easy no matter where you are from. According to Togo’s visa policy, the citizens of 17 countries are granted a visa-free entry in Togo, and they can stay up to 90 days. All the other nationalities can apply for a visa on arrival that allows a 7-day stay. Of course, once in Togo, you can extend it to 90 days. If you wish, you can submit an application to the nearest diplomatic mission of Togo before departure.
If you want to find out whether or not you need a visa, you can take a look on the list of visa-exempt countries. However, using iVisa’s Visa Checker is far more convenient. It is a simple tool that tells you what you need to know in just a few clicks. First, you need to access the feature by clicking on the Visa Checker in the top right corner of this page. Then, you must select your country of origin from the drag-down menu on the left and add Togo in the box on the right. The result will tell you if you need a Togo visa, and if you do, you will be provided a list of the nearest embassies in case you want the document before departure.
Unfortunately, Togo is not one of iVisa’s supported countries, which is why we do not process visa applications at the moment. To show you that we still want to provide assistance, we put our free support service at your disposal 24/7.
As far as the requirements go, you need to make sure that you meet them before departure. First, you need to know what they are. You have the option of doing your research online, but we recommend caution because the information you find online is not always the most reliable. As an alternative, we advise you to call the issuing authority and ask about the requirements. It is the most legitimate source of information. In the meantime, what we can tell you is that all applicants must have a valid passport that does not expire for at least another year from the date of arrival and has at least two blank pages.
For now, we cannot help you get your visa for Togo, but we hope that the information above is helpful.
