My visa application has been refused. Why can't I get my money back?

If the government rejects your application, you are eligible for a full refund of the iVisa processing fee related to the number of rejected applicants. Otherwise, we do not refund the government fees.

Do I need B1/B2 Visa if I’m only transiting through the United States?

The nonimmigrant visa for travelers in immediate and continuous transit through the United States is the Transit (C) visa. You can use a B1/B2 Visa to transit in the territory if you have one.

My old passport has already expired. My visa to travel to the United States is still valid but in my expired passport. Do I need to apply for a new visa with my new passport?

No, you don’t. You’ll need to carry both of your passports – the expired one with the valid visa and the current valid passport. The valid visa on the old passport must meet the purpose of the trip, and it should be in good condition, not damaged.

My visa will expire while I am in the United States. Is there a problem with that?

Your visa cannot expire while you are in the US, you will be considered illegal if you overstay your visa. That's why if it's about to expire you will have to apply for a renewal right away, and you can do it with us.

My passport with my visa was stolen; what should I do?

You must report the loss or theft to the US Embassy. If it was stolen, you must also report it to the police. Then, you must apply for a new visa by submitting a new application.

My visa was damaged. What should I do?

You must apply for a new visa. You’ll need to fill out a new application and pay the fee, just like the last time.
