Get Your Uzbekistan eVisa in the comfort of your home!

An Uzbekistan visa is a mandatory travel document validated by customs authorities when you get to the country's destination. The process can become tedious and complex, but if you choose iVisa, we will make sure that you don't have to worry about anything when you are applying, during the visa application process, and can travel with peace of mind.

The Uzbekistan e-Visa was introduced to the travel system in July 2018, when the Government of Uzbekistan announced this electronic visa process for travelers from 101 residents of different countries.

The e-Visa, for foreign travel, replaced the bureaucratic system and the need to stand in long lines at consulates or embassies to process your information and be able to obtain permission to visit this country.

If you want to enter Uzbekistan, in this article, we will explain all the necessary information you need to upload, and the steps for you to apply online for your travel document.

Uzbekistan Visa - Everything you need to know

iVisa offers a simple online application process with a fast checkout service, so you can have a valid Uzbek visa. We offer you an approved visa application form that you must fill out as a foreign traveler in order to process your visa.

Another advantage of applying with us is that we have a team of experts who will help and support you when filling out the online application form and process the travel document. This process is approved by Foreign Affairs.

You can contact our experts and ask them about this e-visa at any time.

The Uzbekistan Visa form - What is it?

The e-visa is an official tourist document made by local authorities that allow foreign travel in Uzbekistan and you can register online. It is an alternative to other visas such as Uzbekistan mission visas or visas issued at entry points. However, this document is not mandatory for any Uzbek citizen.

Upon arrival at the port of entry, you will need to present your passport, a printed copy of the e-visa, and a customs declaration form.

Uzbekistan's electronic tourist visa application allows users to choose between 3 visa categories. Single-entry visas, a double-entry visa, and a multiple-entry visa.

When should I apply for my Uzbekistan Visa?

Depending on the processing time you choose, all travelers can apply for this travel document between 7 to 3 working days before travel, to be assured of having an electronic visa on time.

It is also recommended to do it with a little more time in advance in case there is a problem with the information provided.

Remember that this travel document is a mandatory requirement imposed by the government of Uzbekistan in order for you to enter your destination.

If you do not have this travel authorization before your flight, you run the risk of being denied entry and having to return to your country, losing your trip, and having a hard time.

How long can I stay in the country?

The visa expiration date of the Uzbekistan e-visa is 90 days after issuance and is a single, double, or multiple entry type visa.

The Uzbekistan e-visa is for short stays, only allowing you to stay in the destination country for a maximum of 30 days in total.

You can enter Uzbekistan and stay up to 30 days after arrival or until the visa's expiration date. However, your visa is only valid for 90 days after issued, so if you get your visa today and travel to Uzbekistan within 80 days, you must depart Uzbekistan in a maximum of 10 days, not the full 30 days.

The local authorities do not allow visa extensions. If you overstay the full 30-day maximum stay in Uzbekistan, you may face legal action and have to pay a fine. In addition, you may not be able to apply for any Uzbek visas in the future.

What do I need to apply online for the Uzbekistan Visa form?

Depending on your residence and the purpose of the visit, there may be additional requirements you need to register online. The essential travel documents for the visa application are:

  • A valid passport - Your passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the date of entry and have at least one blank page.

  • Applicant photo - You must upload the Uzbekistan government-approved photo visa. If you don't have a recent passport-style photo you can always use our Passport photo service to obtain one.

  • A valid email address - We will send your Uzbekistan Visa application approval via email.

  • Payment- A credit or debit card to pay.

You will receive your Uzbekistan e-visa travel documents by email. When passing through immigration, travelers will need to present the e-visa in paper or electronic format and show their valid passports and other requested documents.

How to obtain the Uzbekistan Visa for Uzbekistan?

To complete your Uzbek visa process online with us and enter Uzbekistan, you must apply for it using any electronic means before traveling.

The processing of this travel document consists of just 3 easy steps to follow:

  • Step 1 - Fill out our customs declaration form with your personal and travel information. You will also need to answer questions about your health status and COVID-19.

  • Step 2 - Select a processing time according to your needs and travel budget. Then, attach the necessary documents and confirm payment. Finally, click on "submit".

  • Step 3 - Now, sit back and wait for the confirmation of your Uzbekistan visa form to be emailed to you, and you are ready to travel.

In order to receive your document, you must complete the form. If you make a mistake and click "accept" to finish, you will not be able to request a new form while the current one is being processed, it is likely to be rejected, and you will lose a lot of time and possibly your trip. If this is the case, do not hesitate to contact our customer service team.

Once you receive your confirmation email, we recommend that you save a copy of the form on your phone. This way, you will be able to show it at the airport ticket counter or in case a border control agent asks for it when arriving at your destination.

Questions?

Angela S, USA | July 7, 2024

I’m going to Tashkent at the end of July. It’s my first time visiting Central Asia and I’m pretty excited. Do I need to have my flight tickets booked before I apply for the Uzbekistan eVisa? I’m a bit cautious about booking flights without first having the visa. I want to know if this is a necessary requirement for the visa application.

Martin, iVisa | July 9, 2024

You do not need to have your flight tickets booked before applying for the Uzbekistan eVisa. The application does not require you to provide proof of booked flights, so you can apply for your visa before securing your travel arrangements.

Ridhi G, India | July 15, 2024

I’ve just received my Uzbekistan eVisa and noticed a small issue—the date of birth format is mixed up. It’s listed as MM/DD/YYYY instead of the usual DD/MM/YYYY format we use in India, swapping my day and month around. I’m worried this might cause issues when I arrive. I travel next week and I’m not sure I have enough time to reapply for a new one.

Martin, iVisa | July 18, 2024

If there's a mistake in the date of birth format on your Uzbekistan eVisa, it's essential to contact the nearest Uzbek embassy or consulate immediately. Given your travel is next week, reach out to them to see if a rapid correction can be made or if you have to apply for a new eVisa, as having incorrect information might cause issues at the border.

Ahmed D, Bangladesh | July 25, 2024

I’m traveling to Uzbekistan in August and I plan to visit several cities once I land (I’m looking for business opportunities). In the eVisa application there’s a section for a preliminary residence address. I’m not sure what to put down since I'll be moving around a lot. Should I just list my first hotel in Tashkent, or is there a better way to handle this?

Cami, iVisa | Aug 29, 2024

For the eVisa application, you should list the address where you'll first stay in Uzbekistan, which in your case would be your first hotel in Tashkent. This is sufficient for the visa application even if you plan to travel around the country later.

If there is an error when you are making your application you don’t need to worry. We have a great support service team that will help you with everything you need.
No, you will not get your money refunded if your visa is denied.
Yes, everyone traveling with you needs to have their own eVisa.

Yes, e-visa holders can enter Uzbekistan through all border crossing points.
No, you can’t. If your e-visa and passport do not match, your e-visa is invalid, and you will need a new e-visa.
At iVisa, we understand that your time is valuable, and we strive to provide you with the fastest service possible. Our processing times are estimated based on the average duration it takes governments to process visa applications. These estimated times begin from the moment we receive all the correct information for your application until you receive your visa. While we work diligently to expedite the process, it’s important to note that we are reliant on the processing times set by the government authorities.
