Types of Vietnam visas for Citizens of Colombia

There are two different visa types for Colombian citizens, depending on the purpose of your trip: a Vietnam tourist visa or a business visa. You can opt to apply for a standard single entry Vietnam e-visa via the iVisa application form, which is a convenient, simple, and cost-effective way to apply.

What is the Vietnam eVisa or visa on arrival?

Before you get into the application process for the Vietnam visa on arrival or e-visa, you need to know what the Vietnam eVisa, also known as the Vietnam visa on arrival, is and how it works. The Vietnam visa on arrival is an electronic visa introduced in 2017 by the Vietnam immigration department.

Colombia passport holders can complete their Vietnam visa application online instead of waiting in long queues at the Vietnam embassy for tourism visa applications. You will recieve your Vietnam eVisa via email once it is approved, make sure to print it out or save it in a safe place on your electronic device.

Apply for a Vietnam tourist visa

When applying for a Vietnam visa, Colombia nationals should apply online a few weeks before they plan to travel to the country. However, we can help expedite the process if you urgently need a visa.

Vietnam is currently fully reopened for international tourism and has eased all COVID-19 restrictions; however, local authorities advise Colombian passport holders to check for updates before their trip as this can change anytime.

Screening centers and health hotlines

Authorities also advise that travelers keep the Vietnam health hotline number (1900 3228) on hand and call if they have symptoms of COVID-19, are concerned about their health, or suspect they were exposed.
