Hello, My name is not "Andre" but "Lydie", Thank you, Lydie PORCEL
There were too many of your people involved in my submissions which led to confusion. I had to submit the same documentation several times. Eventually after much frustration my application was escalated and finalised. Regards, Susan Visser
I am a Canadian citizen and I need to apply for a B1 Visa to be a speaker at a photography conference in ChicagoJune 2023 I did not have a chance to explain that important aspect.
I applied for 2 visas for Canada, I only received my visa, my husband's visa was missing
They did not cut the photos 5cm x 7cm, but only printed them out joined together (2 photos per sheet, separated by a thin black line/border). My or anyones expectation would be to have ready-to-use photos and not printouts that we would need to cut ourselves. If you are running a business that advertises or solicits orders for non-US passport size photos, you should also invest in buying those photo cutting dies or paper trimmers, cut individual photos as per order and then mail them to the customer so that they can be readily used.
Site/app was easy to use and quick but the edited picture of one of my orders looks very altered. They added a part of her arm but it looks discoloured and bruised, looks like it was quickly done without thought.
Initially I completed a form that asked for $99 which I stopped doing before payment. That was annoying and worrying.
It was ok. A bit difficult to answer some questions but thankfully the help chat service got me past them.
I might have given more stars but I had to chat twice for help. After I had paid and been accepted they needed more information. Useless information. They wouldn’t accept what I had given. I am retired, that wasn’t accepted. They wanted to know who my employer was what my start day was and totally useless information. I was told to put in anything!! I then got a request for a photo of my passport. Checked the day after and they hadn’t received it. Fortunately Hanna helped me and a few hours later I had been accepted!!!!!
I paid for my visa be processed in 30 minuts and it took more that 8 hours.. also I call the center 5 in the morning because I had not recived any email and the person said that my visa had been approved and I could go to the airport. After 30 minutos I recived another email saying that it was cancelled and only after 74 hours but my flight was in 3 hours time. Some one in your time told me not to go to the airport. But i did go in orther to change my flight. And then the air Canada told me that the visto has arrived. I was very glad and thankful that the visa arrived but the whole process was ver stressful. . And I paid for 30 minuts service when it took more that 8 house where I should had paid much lesser.. but thanks
The ivisa took a long time to be accepted and finalized. I hope the payment for the first visa has been refunded to me. We expected a proper document not just a letter to say that our eTA had been electronically been added to our passports. We trust all works well when we go through Canadian Passport control.... Found form difficult to fill in didn’t know full cost until pay time. Had paid before form completed
Very straightforward application but... except for 1. Ambiguity in being asked for employer details, when I'd already marked 'Retired' from the drop down menu. It was impossible to progress the application online without the employer part. I'd suggest a pop-up for 'Retired's to instruct them clearly to either 'state LAST employer dates' or 'SKIP last employer details', etc. It would avoid applicants sending in the question to your chat/help email line. 2, Similarly, you ask to include previous eTA refence numbers, if applicable. If was some time ago, it's most unlikely that people can remember, or will have kept a record of, such numbers, surely?.
I didn-t realise that if I went on the official Canadian government website and got my Visa through that, it would have cost me much less. Otherwise your service was fine: easy to complete the details online and quickly dealt with.
Thought your website was somewhat misleading as you reached the point of quoting your credit card number and entering. Normally, this is the end of an internet connection. Instead your site then went on asking lots of questions. I, being male, messed it up and my wife took over. However, she had to use your online help to finalise the transaction. Overall very good but you could look at standardising the sequence of entries.
