I found the service fantastic, I was having some difficulties uploading things and my documents were in Chinese which made it more difficult, the staff member I spoke to on the chat was very accommodating and patient
Initially not happy with help desk person I was dealing with, she did not seem to understand my problem, however in the end everything worked out. The I received request to resubmit supporting documents that again caused some frustration, I have now been sent all the documents I need and all good.
took longer than promised but communication was good and fortunately we applied early enough. The holiday period had an impact we suspect. Kind regards, Alan
Don't use this service if you're capable of filling out a paper form by yourself - they charge you $35 per person to basically auto populate a form for you. You still need to go to an embassy in person and pay the visa application fee, so this company does not do anything for you, other than fill out information you populate in a form to them.
It has been a very low stress experience using iVisa. Hopefully, I can get the visa without the long queue.
This process on your site is very misleading. A processing fee is charged but full service for the visa is not provided.
Delighted to receive our Chinese visa but it did take longer than we expected. There were several days of delay as I was asked to send the same information repeatedly. Also I was contacted via email as well as the ivisa.com status update so was sometimes not sure what was most up to date. I received the DHL notification of visa despatch before the status was updated as well. Staff on chat help did respond promptly which was appreciated. Thank you
The system / website kept sending me email messages after I had emailed required documents. Otherwise, it's a good system
First time using ivisa.com and I received my visas as per the estimated delivery date. The service was very good, they responded quickly to my emails and online chat queries. I would use them again in the future.
Hopeless, still unsure of how to get visa in Hobart, no visa centres and I completed all docs on line and now have more to fill in, very confusing I called the centre from on line, no answer, put in que and then auto cut off.
You have terrible follow up and unreasonable customer care. Reaching you by phone is impossible. Your web site is bad. The chat line doesn't work. Your field people are incompetent. I am very sorry I used your service. You had my passport in Houston fro three weeks and waited until the 11th hour to take it to the consulate. I requested overnight delivery on Friday so I could leave on Monday the 13th and never heard from you. The Visa and passport are being delivered on Tuesday 14th October. I hope it arrives in tact. There is no recovery time thanks to your ineptness.
Considering that I'm a busy person who travels for work and doesn't have the time to wait in line much less make several trips to correct any mistakes, this has been very helpful. Two reasons I'm giving iVisa 3 stars: Communications could be better on your chat application. I would ask that they check on my visa, but I would not hear anything back. This has happened several times. I realize that iVisa is limited when it comes to the speed of the consulate, but an email to let customers know that they're still on top of things would be helpful, especially if visa has been sitting on Waiting for Government stage for a few weeks. Second reason for 3 stars: I work for the media, but have nothing to do with reporting the news, but China required two letters (one from boss & the other from me). If this information was on the website I didn't see it. It would have been helpful if it one the website, if it is it needs to be more prominent or on the website for this would save time and stress.
Although took longer than expected, the company worked through problems with us and provided support when necessary. We got the Visa in time and as the date got nearer, they did everything necessary to ensure no hold ups. Good customer service overall.
customer support did a great job keeping me updated. took one star off as they said they would overnight Visa back, but shipped out two day....
If you want your Visa and don't want to have to drive back and forth to the Chinese consulate to get it done, this is a place to do it. The cost was more than I expected, but better compared to other companies. You get what you pay for though. There was a huge lack of instructions once I received the FedEx print out. Once our passports and paperwork had been mailed to iVisa, I received absolutely no update. In fact, there was no update on the web site until the day I got my passports back. On two occasions, I emailed the company asking them what was going on, especially since I received a notification that a package was being delivered to me. When I logged into my account, it showed me that I needed to print off paperwork and that my paperwork was still "under review" by iVisa. I took this to mean that something was missing or not approved. When I finally did hear back from someone two days later, they never answered my question and told me the same information I found on the web site already. I emailed again. Didn't hear anything. Next thing I know, our passports, with the visas in them, are here, and two hours later, after two weeks of no updates, my status is "finished." Keep better track of the process after you have our passports and paperwork. It's scary giving all of your information away like that, and the less communicative you are, the scarier it is. Make the information accurate.
First time I have used the service. Easy and delivered just as advertised.
Took over a month from initial contact until I received my China visa.
The whole process of getting a visa to China seemed so daunting, but iVisa made it so simple. I didn’t have to leave my couch and was able to upload all the necessary documents from my phone. Super thankful! The only negative is that I started the visa process based on an email I was sent promising 30% off service fees upon checkout and I was NOT given that discount.
We’re a family and only four out of five got approved so this is no way done as if I don’t get approved we have to cancel the whole trip
Pretty good. Uncomfortable paying upfront. Picky on some docs like China hotel reservation -- it all had to be in English, even though my name, dates, etc were in English. Good follow-up and customer service. Was able to reach a human by phone when needed.
Your company has made the issuance of the group visa much easier. I suggest that the review of the documents should be made at least 3 weeks prior to issuance to alleviate pressure from the cleint's side.
After we understood what to do about sending the passport photo, everything went smooth, quick and we got our Visa.
Communicated quickly when application components were needed and answered all of my questions promptly.
Really bad service! Would have been easier to go to embassy directly.
The process of filling out the application was extremely easy and if any question needed to be addressed, the 24/7 chat session was there to assist. I only wish iVisa would have given a time-table saying how long it would take to process the application and how long to process once iVisa had the passports. IVisa was very good at telling you where you were in the process, but not the number of days for each process. And, I wasted three days trying to find A4 paper size paper to use for printing. Wished I would have known this at the beginning of the process because the paper had to be ordered.
The process for my Chinese Visa was so easy with iVisa. I completed the forms on a Monday and my visa and passport were processed within 2 days. I would highly recommend iVisa for processing any visa when traveling abroad.
Very easy to use and completed in a very timely manner. I would definitely use their service again!
Visa was obtained with less than a week to spare and process was started 5 weeks in advance. At times it was unclear what additional information was needed or corrections that had to be made and then the feed back was slower than we had hoped for.
Excellent response and communication also the way the site was set up made the entire process quite easy .
Highly recommended! I would definitely use this company again. Fast and stress free. Thank you!
Worked as advertised. Saved me a trip to New York for half the cost of the train fare.
iVisa took the worries out of obtaining a tourist visa for China. Very easy to upload all required documents and track progress. We would use this service again.
The service was very fast, and when more information was required I was got the request quickly and had plenty of time to respond. Overall, a very professional and personalized service. I would highly recommend using ivisa to anyone needing a visa in a hurry.
The staff was very helpful when I ran into issues with the delivery of my visa! They sent another copy right away and made sure that I had all of the necessary documents before I left for my trip.
My experience with iVisa was nothing short of terrible. I spent a total of 6 hrs on my laptop dealing with the application, iVisa's errors, and their incorrect information. I applied for a visa to go to China (which I have done 5 other times) and iVisa held me to the guidelines for Brazil. I was told not to take a selfie photo so I had my photo made professionally, only to be told then by iVisa later that I could have just taken a selfie. The completed visa proof they asked me to review listed my father (who died in '74) as my emergency contact along with my own cell phone number. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IVISA TO ANYONE AND WILL DISCOURAGE ANYONE I KNOW FROM USING THEM.
You responded promptly and provided clear instructions. I appreciated the discount too.
Great service! The application was fairly straightforward and easy to fill out. The iVisa staff communicated quickly and efficiently and got all of the extra info needed so that the process went smoothly. I was nervous about sending my passport, but it was nice to have the FedEx tracking to know when it arrived and when it was supposed to be delivered again. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend iVisa!!!
The process for the Visa for China travel was quite easy, BUT, although we sent the information roughly 3-4 weeks in advance and the visa takes 5-7 days, we began to get quite anxious when our visas did not arrive until 6 days before our travel. And that was after contacting iVisa quite a few times over the phone. Which, by the way IS NOT EASY. At one time I had to call their London offices because I could not get through in the US.
On numerous occasions, they had no idea they already had information they were requesting from me. They emailed me many times asking questions I had already answered or requesting information I had already given. Once I Fedex’d my passport to them, they emailed me 3 days after it had been delivered asking me to mail it to them. Not a great feeling thinking they lost your passport! **definitely get a tracking number** Overall, they got the job done but really not as smooth or quick as their website indicates.
Getting my visa with Ivisa was a very satisfying experience, they were with me through the whole process, keeping me informed at every step and giving me the confidence of putting my whole trip in the hands of true professionals, since they show me to be very knowledgeable of what kind of information was needed for the process to be successful at the first try.
I kept being asked for more information, with little explanation as to why.
In my case I was applying for a Chinese visa, I paid extra for the super fast processing, and even though you state that it takes 7 to 10 days, your people seem to be content with the 10 days. I needed my visa much quicker, I even had to call the consulate and ask if my visa was ready, which it was and I had to put pressure on your team to go pick it up and send it to me. This is not good service, it is an OK service. In my opinion, you don't seem motivated to exceed your customers' expectations.
I made a lot of mistakes filling out the application and you guys fix them I know I probably would not have gotten my Visa without you guys thank you
We ordered the group evisa for our trip to China. The service and delivery was fast. Customer service was also very helpful in answering any questions I had during the ordering stage and afterwards. I will use them again and will be recommending them to anyone that need a visa.
All was a little effortless once I understood the correct paper work needed from the travel agency. Only issue is the need to get 10year visa unless you are a group of 2 or more. Can't see why that is a requirement.
I would have liked a little more info on progress of the visa
Very fast and professional. Every detail walked through and made easy for me. Visas can be stressfull not knowing what another country needs. This was gast, efficient and easy!
We thought iVisa would be simple and easy to use for our visa process. It turned out to be much more complicated. When iVisa initially filled out our visa forms, there were multiple, blatant mistakes. After pushing to get on the phone with a supervisor, we were able to get these mistakes fixed through them. In the end, we did receive our visa in a timely manner, and we are appreciative of that. We would use a different visa service next time.
Superb service from start to finish. Received reply straight away to any question and had things in hand every step of the way
Cons: The form was filled out wrong multiple times even though it should've been automated. I had to manually fill out an application form and send it in. The necessary information for a visa application was not given right away. Communication with customer service on their online chat was poor, unhelpful, and very slow. Turn around time was slower than expected upon receiving our passports. Pros: Customer service on the phone was good. The price was cheap. They kept us up to date on the status of our visas. Shipping the passports and working with FedEx was easy.
