I tried going direct through the Egypt Government website and it was a nightmare to negotiate. I gave up in the end an used iVisa instead. It was a much easier process and I received my visa within just a few days.

I found the overall process (so far) to be very straight forward. As a recommendation, it would be good to list what is necessary to complete the entire process before the parties start to enter data. I recognize that the system continually saves the status so this is a relatively minor change.

Easy to sign up. Easy panels to go through. Just needed our passport information and travel dates to complete the fields. The iVisa folks handled the rest. The experience was easy, but there is a point, which is that I paid an amount for a multiple visa for one year, and I was given one trip. I was contacted via email to return the amount, and I was informed that the amount would be returned.

Fairly easy to negotiate the website, except after we had filled out all the places, we still got a notice that some piece of information was missing. This caused some concern as every item was checked. My husband went through again to double check and that time it went.

It was easy to follow instructions, and it took a few minutes to complete. I had a scan of my passport ready. Otherwise, nothing complicated. However, it was a bit expensive compared to other VISAS I needed in the past.
