Taiwan eVisa
The Taiwan eVisa is available to nationals of specific countries invited by the government or applying for short-term purposes such as tourism, business, or events. It is valid for 90 days, issued as a single-entry visa, and allows stays of up to 30 days.
Required documents:

Taiwan Arrival Card
The Taiwan Arrival Card is not a visa but an online immigration form that all visitors, including those visa-exempt or with travel authorization, must complete before or upon arrival for recordkeeping and border control purposes.
Required documents:
- 🪪 Passport – must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date
- ✈️ Flight and accommodation details
- 📧 Email address and phone number
Taiwan Travel Authorization
The Taiwan Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) is available to travelers from select countries who also hold a valid visa or permanent residence from designated countries. It is valid for 90 days and allows multiple entries, with each visit limited to 14 days.
Required documents:
- 🪪 Passport – must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date
- 📄 A valid visa or residence permit from one of the following countries: India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, or Cambodia
- ✈️ Flight itinerary
- 📧 Email address and payment method
Visitor Visa*
This is issued for short-term purposes such as tourism, visiting family or friends, business trips, attending conferences, or engaging in short training programs and inspections. It is usually valid for three months and can be granted as a single- or multiple-entry visa. Depending on nationality, the maximum stay ranges from 60 to 90 days.

Resident Visa*
This visa allows holders to remain in Taiwan for longer periods, typically up to one year, and serves as the basis for obtaining the Taiwanese Alien Residence Card (ARC). It is required for activities such as employment, family reunification, and study. Valid for stays exceeding 180 days, the Resident Visa can be issued as single- or multiple-entry, and is generally valid for up to one year. Holders must have prior approval where applicable, such as work authorization, admission to a Taiwanese institution, or proof of family ties.

Working Holiday Visa*
This is designed for young travelers, usually between the ages of 18 and 30 (though the age limit varies by nationality). Its primary purpose is cultural exchange and travel, with work permitted only as a secondary means to support the stay. The visa is valid for 12 months, beginning with an initial six-month stay that can be extended once for another six months. It permits multiple entries but limits employment; holders cannot work for the same employer for more than six months.

Entrepreneur Visa*
This visa supports the country’s growing startup ecosystem by granting entry to individuals looking to establish or develop a business. To qualify, applicants must meet specific government criteria. The visa is generally valid for two years, allows multiple entries, and can be extended to support longer-term business ventures.
