In other words, you can apply online for a Sri Lanka eVisa by simply following some instructions and getting a shortlist of requirements. iVisa can facilitate the online application process so that the ETA is approved in as little as 12 hours.

In this article, we will give you more information about this document, so we invite you to keep reading the FAQs below.

Sri Lanka

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

I'm from Poland, do I need a Sri Lanka Visa?

No, you don't need a visa per sé, what you need is an ETA.

What is an ETA for Sri Lanka?

It's a permission that allows you to enter the country without having to apply for a consular visa.

How Long can Polish Citizens stay in Sri Lanka?

If you're from Poland, you can stay in Sri Lanka for 60 days Per Entry. Don't forget that during this amount of time you can't get any kind of work, and all visits are limited to tourism, or business if you apply for a business e-Visa.

What are the requirements for this ETA?

Before you begin the application process, you should make sure that you fulfill all the requirements. Luckily, there are not that many, and they are generally easy to meet. Here is what you need:

  • Passport – If you want to apply for a Sri Lanka ETA you must get a valid passport. The visa policy of Sri Lanka requires that the passport keeps its validity for at least }6 months from the date of arrival.
  • Digital photo – for a valid passport photo, you must make sure that the picture is recent and that it follows all the other guidelines.
  • E-mail address – your ETA will arrive via e-mail in PDF format. The e-mail address you offer must be valid for you to get your PDF properly. Remember to print out the document before departure.
  • Means of payment – iVisa is flexible in this topic. You can proceed with the payment using a credit or a debit card, or even a Paypal account.

How long is the Sri Lanka ETA valid for Polish?

Your ETA expires 180 days after issued.

What are the prices for the Sri Lanka ETA?

The total amount you'll pay will vary according to the type of ETA and how soon you want it. You have three options with iVisa:

  • Standard processing time – This options is the least expensive of all. You can obtain your Sri Lanka ETA in only 3 days by paying USD $132.99.

  • Rush processing – If you need something faster, you can choose this option. Your application is ready within 24 hours, and the total price is USD $158.99.

  • Super Rush processing – you can select this option and have your application ready within 12 hours. The total price will be USD $206.99.

Don't forget about the visa type, you can also apply for a Sri Lanka Business ETA if your trip is related to business purposes. The price is different, of course. If you want to learn more about it, click here

How can I apply?

After you manage to put together all of the above, you can proceed to the application page to fill in the form. You shouldn't find it difficult, but if you have questions or concerns, please refer to iVisa’s customer support. It is available 24/7 and it is entirely free of charge.

Keep in midn tha iVisa’s form consists of three simple steps:

  1. The first one is related to your general information, but it also makes you select a processing time for your application and a visa type.

  2. Step number two asks you to handle the payment issue, and you also have to make sure that your form doesn't contain any mistakes. A quick review will meet that purpose.

  3. The third step is reserved for supporting documents. You will have to upload them. After you are done with that as well, you are free to submit your application, and iVisa will take it from there.

Surely, we can all agree that the online process of acquiring a Sri Lanka ETA does not entail too much effort.

What should I do once I finish the online form?

After you complete the online form, you'll obtain the Sri Lanka ETA via e-mail. You don't need to deal with any embassy. We do it for you so you don't have to waste time. The next thing you can do is to print your Tourist ETA and take it with you once you arrive in Sri Lanka, but this is not something necessary since you already have it linked to your passport.

Can I apply for family members?

You can apply for family members or even closest friends. Just remember that to do that you must obtain all of their required documents (you can read the list above).

To apply for just one person, do it here offering their personal information. On the contrary, if you need to apply for more than a single person, you can do it by clicking on ‘Add new applicant’ in the application form.

How will I know if my Tourist ETA is approved and ready to use?

We will let you know once the Sri Lanka Government approves the visa.
