Ports of entry: Taiwan eVisa holders may enter through designated international airports and seaports, including Taoyuan International Airport (Taipei), Taipei Songshan Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport, and Taichung International Airport.

Who is required: All foreign travelers entering Taiwan — including visa-exempt visitors, eVisa holders, visa holders — must complete the Taiwan Online Arrival Card prior to arrival.
When to apply: Travelers must complete the online Arrival Card within 3 days prior to arrival. With iVisa, you can apply even earlier.

Purpose: The Taiwan Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) is an online entry permit that allows eligible nationals to travel to Taiwan visa-free for short-term visits. It is not a visa but serves as pre-entry authorization for qualifying travelers.
Who is eligible: The TAC is available to nationals of India, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar who hold a valid or expired (within the last 10 years) visa or residence permit issued by the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, any Schengen Area country, Japan, South Korea, Australia, or New Zealand.
The qualifying visa or residence permit must have been used previously to enter the issuing country (except for e-visas or electronic authorizations, which are not eligible).
Duration and extensions: The approved Travel Authorization Certificate is valid for 90 days from issuance and allows stays of up to 14 days per visit. Extensions are not permitted.
Entries: The TAC allows multiple entries during its 90-day validity period, provided each stay does not exceed 14 days.
Ports of entry: TAC holders may enter Taiwan through designated international airports and seaports, including Taoyuan International Airport (Taipei), Taipei Songshan Airport, Kaohsiung International Airport, and Taichung International Airport.
Delivery format: Once approved, the Travel Authorization Certificate is issued instantly online. Travelers must print the authorization and present it along with their valid passport and qualifying visa/residence permit upon arrival in Taiwan.
