Last updated: April 2025

No one gets excited about applying for a visa. But if you’re heading to Thailand, and your nationality isn’t visa-exempt, it’s something you’ll need to sort out before you go.

We’ve made the Thailand Tourist Visa application feel less like a chore and more like ticking one more thing off your travel list. It’s online, it’s guided, and it takes just a few minutes. Once your visa is ready, we’ll send it straight to your inbox.

What is the Thailand Tourist Visa?

The Thailand Tourist Visa is a short-term travel document that allows eligible travelers to visit Thailand for tourism. That includes activities like sightseeing, relaxing on the islands, exploring temples, or spending time with friends and family.

Thailand Tourist Visa validity

This visa doesn’t cover long-term stays, business trips, paid work, or formal study. It also isn’t valid for airport transits or stopovers. If your plans fall outside the vacation category, you’ll want to look into other Thai visa types. You can find more details on the Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.

Thailand offers both single-entry and multiple-entry tourist visas, but when you apply with us, we only provide the single-entry option. It’s valid for one trip and gives you up to 60 days in Thailand.

Who needs a Thailand Tourist Visa?

If your nationality isn’t part of Thailand’s visa-exempt or visa-on-arrival program, you’ll need to get this visa in advance, especially if your stay is longer than 15 days.
