Uzbekistan allows visa-free entry for citizens of several countries, but the length of stay varies by nationality. For example, citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, and Ukraine may enter visa-free (unlimited duration), while citizens of many other countries — including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and many EU countries — may enter visa-free for up to 30 days.

Travelers who are not visa-exempt must obtain a visa in advance, either through an Uzbek embassy/consulate or via the official eVisa system.

General Uzbekistan visa requirements are:

  • Passport or travel document (must be valid at least 3 months beyond the visa validity)
  • Passport-size photos
  • Additional supporting documents depending on visa type (e.g., invitation/host documents where applicable)
