Canadian visa policy for Armenian citizens

Armenian citizens need a visa to visit Canada, and the most common option is the Canada Visitor Visa (Temporary Resident Visa / TRV), which must be obtained before departure. Armenian travelers are not eligible for a Canadian eTA unless they qualify under special rules (such as having held a Canada visa in the past 10 years, currently holding a valid US non-immigrant visa, and traveling by air).
