Canada eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization): This travel authorization allows United Kingdom citizens to enter Canada for tourism, business, transit, or short visits. It is valid for up to 5 years from issue (or until the passport expires, whichever comes first) and permits multiple entries. Each stay can be up to 6 months. The eTA is electronically linked to the traveler’s passport and is required for entry by air.
Canada ArriveCAN Form: This is a mandatory travel form that travelers must complete before flying to or transiting through Canada. It collects travel and contact information and must be submitted prior to boarding. It is not a visa or travel authorization but is required for compliance with Canadian entry procedures.
