Only 3 stars as I didn’t know I’d have to upload photos and I was using the PC and I struggled with this. Notification about this before starting the application I could have used my phone or iPad. Response from Help Team was very effective as it was from human beings and not a ‘bot’. ESTA was received in about 3 hours and not 24 as expected.
The cost, why when l found out after l paid you l could’ve got it cheaper.
Application was relatively straightforward to complete however question categories at the beginning would be helpful
I think should be cheaper, the price is high for portuguese people.
Reservations over the lack of secure portal given the extent of the data demanded and its significance.
Extremely quick and easy to use, but very expensive and was worried I was being scammed.
it was not allowing me to continue with the registration yet the fields were all completed. I never did figure out why? Frustrating. I hope it works at the receiving site. I like hte embassy contact.
It’s is hard if you don’t have all the information at hand
I do still not have any experience at the moment because it’s my first time to apply for ESTA Visa and I do still not understand what to do next after applying and after getting the Approved United States ESTA
Fast turnaround. Transparent process. Good communication. However, very expensive and I was under the impression that this was an official government site. When I received the visa I noted that going this route was almost four times more expensive.
The ETA application is easy to apply and the fee is acceptable.
Well. It was ok until I got to the last knockings and then when I tried to photograph my passport it would not obey my instructions so I had to go to the library and have the librarian finish it off for me.
I did praise the service this company offers in my initial review and I still agree that the process is clear and straightforward. However, I have now discovered that I could have applied directly through the US Embassy Homeland Security page and saved a massive fee which ivisa charges. It's the same application for $21 instead of the £80 odd ivisa charged me. It's my fault for not looking into this properly before applying. The service is good but the charge isn't. Lesson learned.
other than filling in personal details such as names, addresses etc , -- NO PROBLEM. However , where computer- generated infos' are required - could be a problem to persons who are elderly who are NOT computer literate.
It was not clear if the visa was approved or not. Also, was I to download a form?
Large difference in cost. €89 paid per person compared to actual cost of $21.
I have the approved application for the visa to America which I am very happy but Iwhen I apply for the I-94 and keep have problems it keeps coming back and said they’re success to put me in the application and asking me to add other travelers I only apply for myself and no one else up until today is the same problem how can I go through it with out all this problem please can you please help me to sort it out thank you
My experience was a success, however, when my husband attempted to obtain a NZ ETA, the price hiked to $71 USD. We are still trying to get this to work for the $12.90 fee.
The qickness of obtaining the visa once application managed to be accepted. Huge frustration at time it took to get application in due to requiring a photo of passport to be elctronically sent. I enquired at the US consulate in my country they were unable to help and suggested i phone Washington, the time difference between us is huge. I ended up getting a new ph earlier than I had planned so I could complete the application also the details of previous narionalities/ passports, my expiry date did not appear within the dates provided so could not complete the section as i would have thought it should have been. Then I recieced an email saying I can proceed so did and voila visa into the USA. Would have been nice to be able to speak to someone who could of helped.
The service was excellent and turn round time exceptional, however as I noticed after I had entered all my personal details that I was in a sponsored site, I had a nail biting few hours fearful of the worst
thought i was renewing through postal service your service was ok but complicated.
Thankfully I had my pa do it for me as I can’t use technology very well her comment was very positive about it
I was unable to remember the date of my old passport from 45 years ago and felt this was an irrelevant question
I didn’t like the part where I had to pay before I completed the form
I struggled to solve my problem because of AI interlocutor. Eventually I made it.I would have liked it to sorted out faster
For person who doesn’t know much about computers I was able to follow the guidelines easy enough
I wanted to know if a visa would be obtained for me, but get no info back. My trip is in 6 weeks and i need a visa for brazil. No feed back from e visa so far.
Misleading.. by the Visa info, there was a window for APPLY, I pressed there and paid for registration into the US Secretary of state... not cool..its not about the $12.95..its misinformation
I had to submit my photo 4 times without knowing what the problems were, took shot from different stores.
Used to be easy. Had to renew as new passport had a different number. Last one said Payment Received $14.00. My credit card statement shows that on 28.12.21, £10.46 was the cost of the ESTA plus 28 pence, currency exchange rate, total £10.74. This time I was informed that the charge to my credit card would be £42.53! although I have not been able to verify that as yet. The Payment Received said $21.00 when I printed the document. This is an increase of £31.79 in 22 months! Furthermore, I received an email today asking me to complete my application!!! I replied that I had and have already printed it out.
The site is easy to start, but get difficult later. Omitting punctuation is necessary but not mentioned.
iVisa sent the application packet to me on time and made the corrections I requested, but the communication with your staff is slow, confusing, & sporadic. I have no idea if my application was delivered to the correct location, even though I mailed it well over 1 week ago and iVisa has the tracking number. iVisa included a sheet with a QR code, but it only takes me to their website that doesn't provide any new information....What good is that?
I had a difficult time uploading the passport. They kept rejecting the picture. I feel if the passport is clear enough to read and you can see the entire passport and signature it should be accepted, even if it was taken with a cell phone.
-Very slow to react to my questions on the chat. - I was uncertain the whole time if anyone actually was helping me and often my questions were not properly answered - when I was directed from the email to complete the errors in my application , ie add passport number . It said something like " number not found" what does that mean !!!!! I had to go back to the long waiting chat to solve it . It took hours to tell me that the password couldn't be used ( Isle of Man ) . This should have been done instantly on the page . - price was fair - speed of delivery once all sorted out was excellent . Took around two hours to process . - in summary , make the filling out is the application easier , if something is not right , then say it immediately by not letting you go any further on that section . Make a clear separate page labelled " photos of ID docs "to attach . I don't know if I did or I didn't need to send them - say upfront that you DON't NEED to state details of your flights
It took over one year to finally get a packet in the mail for my passport renewal. Part of the problem could have been my own electronic inability. There was constant interactive communication, however.
I needed to talk to someone as did not get help through email. Do you have a phone number so that I can get the information I need. I did not understand why I had to go through an embassy. Sharon Krulin
The quality of the pictures IVisa produced was great: customer service / follow up needs to be improved: it took four requests for me to get the pictures I (properly) ordered: two passport style pictures of each of two people. The initial delivery to me included four pictures of one person, and the "service response" to my initial three requests to get the pictures that I had ordered of the second person was simply to reiterate that the order was already complete...
The online service is great for passport photos. I have used the delivery option previously, it was great. This time around however I got iVisa to print at my local walgreens because i needed it quicker - the passport photos were so blown out with color, the background turned out looking solid white and looked fake. I guess iVisa can't control that, but it's super disappointing. I had to reprint again at additional cost.
I had numerous problems with the photograph for my passport. Which has now made my receipt of my passport very late. I believe that the last several that I sent were acceptable. But, you kept denying them until you finally accepted one. Lol but thanks
The ordering and manual review process was relatively easy to do, and I got helpful photo correction advice (assuming my photo will be accepted with my application, which I mailed last week). The actual printed photos were quite a bit more pink than the originals I submitted, so the physical prints were actually quite different from the carefully-selected originals. Perhaps you do not control the quality of printing, but I was disappointed in the finished, physical prints. It was not worth the time and effort to try to correct this, but it is the reason why I am rating this at 3 stars rather than 4 or 5.
I was only able to give 3 stars because there is absolutely no way to communicate with IVisa other than by email. It is extremely difficult to get a simple question answered that way. There is NO PHONE and your chat is NOT WORKING!!! What should have only taken a minute or two to get the right answer took 2 days by email because the question was not answered after 3 tries by email. Not good. Otherwise your service would have been much better.
I never received my photos in the mail. I did receive my digital copy but requested both. This delayed my ability to submit my passport application
Menus are not clear. Had difficulty finding what I was looking for.
1. I didn't ask to inhanse the clarity of the picture. Not very satisfied with how the picture looks. But I have to give you credit that the quality of the picture is very high. 2. You promised 2-4 delivery. I have paid about $80. But you saved on mailing and paid just $0.53. As a result, pictures came in 7 days and were too late. I have wasted money.
After my first photos I’ve got the respond with the instructions how to take and to send new pictures, that’s all fine. After I did it, and I’ve sent the new photos, I’ve got two more emails about sending new pictures, same instructions, no further explanation. By the way this took almost two weeks. When I’ve sent the first email about what is not correct on the pictures taken and how to fix them, no answer came. When I’ve sent my second email, where I was asking for a refund, surprisingly I’ve got an answer in 10 minutes and my edited picture was attached to the email. I’m not saying it is a bad service, because it’s not, but could be better customer service. Thank you anyways.
The service is good but customer service is lacking. After taking my picture the size they sent me was incorrect. They said it was because I asked for the size for Jamaica. They were unwilling to correct the size after I offered to repay for it. So I ordered again and I asked for the size for United States which is 2 x 2. The size came back 4 x 4. Again not usable. I contacted customer to asked them how to correct this issue. This time no response at all.
They cut the picture right but left a whole part of my head blurry.
After many attempts, you guys used a photo where you cut off all my hair on the left side. Not a great look.
I was notified my photos were ready and drove 30 minutes to pick them up. Upon arriving, the CVS location said their photo center was down and there were no photos. I contacted iVisa customer service and did not get immediate response. The next morning, I had notification that the photos had been sent to a different CVS location as I requested when I contacted customer service. I picked up the photos and all was well. If I had been in a time crunch and needed the photos to be ready at the promised time, I would have had a major stress. Perhaps iVisa can communicate with CVS locations to confirm that location can currently receive orders before they are made in order to prevent inconveniences like mine. Ultimately, the situation was resolved the next day and the photos were cheaper than having passport photos taken and printed at CVS photo. I also still had to pay for the printing at CVS, which the website did not inform me of beforehand. It makes you believe that the cost you pay on iVisa is the total cost, but you still have to pay for the printing at CVS which was less than $3 in my case.
I read on the USA state department website to wear prescription glasses. Was told to remove glasses. Not sure how this will go once I submit with my passport renewal process. In fact my old passport was wearing glasses! We will see the results until then only an average rating
