What is the Azerbaijani visa, and how can I get it?

The Azerbaijan e-visa is an official travel document that authorizes you to travel to Azerbaijan and is electronically linked to your passport. This Azerbaijan tourist visa is also called ASAN Visa and issues a Single Entry visa for a maximum stay of up to 30 days in Total. This is not a business visa.

Albania Argentina Australia Austria Bahrain
Belarus Belgium Bhutan Brazil Brunei
Bulgaria Cambodia Canada Chile China
Colombia Costa Rica Croatia Cuba Cyprus
Czech Republic Denmark Dominican Republic Ecuador Egypt
El Salvador Estonia Finland France Georgia
Germany Greece Guatemala Hong Kong Hungary
Iceland India Indonesia Iran Ireland
Israel Italy Japan Jordan Kazakhstan
Kuwati Laos Latvia Lebanon Lithuania
Luxembourg USA Uzbekistan Venezuela Vietnam

As you can see, as an Indian citizen, you also need to apply. But with iVisa, it is easy.

We have a series of easy-to-follow steps, from filling out our form to the delivery of documents. All of this will be accompanied by an iVisa Expert, so don't be anxious if this is your first time applying online for a travel visa.

What documents do I need to apply for an Azerbaijani visa?country

For the visa application form for Azerbaijan, you will need to provide personal details about your trip. When you apply with iVisa, you must submit the following Azerbaijan visa requirements:

  • A valid passport: Your passport must be valid for 3 months after you arrive in Azerbaijan. If you apply for a visa for any reason, but when you arrive in the country, your passport is less than three months from expiration, the agents will not grant you entry.

  • Proof of accommodation: You will need to provide the name and address of the accommodation or hotel confirmation details. If you can have all these documents in a PDF, it will make the process easier.

  • Email address: You must provide an updated e mail address to receive your online visa confirmation by email.

  • A payment method: Payment methods such as credit and debit card are accepted.

Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not find it in your inbox, it may be in SPAM.

What is the visa fee for obtaining an Azerbaijani visa?

The Azerbaijan Visa for Indians costs depend on the type of processing you wish to have. Each traveler chooses their type of processing depending on the budget and the trip's requirements. We have 3 types of processing time:.

  • Standard Processing takes 15 days and costs USD $72.49;

  • Rush Processing takes 10 days and costs USD $110.99,

  • Super Rush Processing takes only 8 days but costs USD $157.99.

The Azerbaijan visa fees include the government fee and the visa service fee. It is up to you to choose the best option according to your needs.

Does everyone require an Azerbaijani visa?

All passport holders must have an e-visa, regardless of age. Also, parents must complete this application form for their children.

In addition, if the minor is not traveling with their parents, a notarized and signed letter must be included in order to authorize travel.

When is the best time to travel to Azerbaijan?

The best time to travel to Azerbaijan is from May to October. This is when temperatures are more pleasant for everyone since the weather is warm, and you can walk around the attractions without any problem. Still, everything will depend on the activity you want to do.

For example, there are numerous indoor and outdoor climbing walls for sports tourism, or you can go quad biking out of the large hotel complexes in Qabala. For this reason, tourists would preferably travel between May and October for outdoor activities.

On the other hand, if you want to go and see the Caspian Sea, the largest salt lake in the world, or the famous Nabran coast, we recommend traveling between June and September so that you can make excursions such as boating, fishing, or diving.

Finally, if you want to be more cultural and adventurous, you can discover the incredible Gobustan caves. These extraordinary caves were inhabited by hunters and farmers of the Stone Age and are decorated with engravings. Enjoy a fascinating guided tour between May and October to enjoy the attractions during warm weather.

COVID-19 Restrictions in the country: What should I know before traveling?

Upon arrival in the country, all travelers must undergo a health examination that usually includes temperature monitoring and a visual assessment. Persons showing symptoms of COVID-19 may require further testing and may even be refused entry.

Travelers over 18 years old who are fully vaccinated do not have to be tested for COVID-19 or quarantined. To be considered fully vaccinated, the second dose of vaccine must have been administered at least 14 days before travel.

Additionally, travelers over 18 are required to have COVID-19 passports (or a document confirming complete vaccination against COVID-19 or immunity to COVID-19) to enter catering establishments, shopping centers, hotels, cinemas, and theaters, regardless of citizenship. Only COVID-19 passports are accepted in this country. A PCR test is no longer required for entry. Finally, there are no quarantine requirements for Azerbaijan. However, this information is always subject to change by the Azerbaijani government, so we recommend keeping up to date with the data.
