Provided that you meet the visa requirements, your visa to enter Singapore will be valid for the duration of your visit.

What documentation do I need to complete the Singapore eVisa application?

Before you start filling in the user-friendly form, check that you have the following essential documents to gain entry into Singapore:

  • A photograph taken passport-style against a white background. If you don't have a recent one we also provide a passport photo service for you to get it in no time, without even leaving the house.
  • A passport that remains valid for at least 6 months after your travel date
  • A valid email address to receive your valid visa
  • Travel information, flight dates, flight number, and airline details - You can't get this document unless you have already booked transport.
  • Proof of accommodation, such as a hotel booking.
  • Proof of your marital status such as a marriage certificate.
  • A credit or debit card to pay the fee. Once you have uploaded copies of the required documents, you will receive confirmation from iVisa by email as fast as 30 minutes after applying.

How can I get a Singapore visa?

To get the Singapore eVisa for your intended stay, iVisa is a one-stop shop for all travelers who need a visa to seek entry but want to avoid the usual lengthy trip to the embassy, international travel delays, and other travel document pains. You'll just need a short list of travel requirements to get a valid visa, so let's find out how you can gain entry into Singapore with iVisa.

  • Step 1 - Fill in the immigration pass application form with your personal and travel details.
  • Step 2 - Select a processing speed that suits your travel plans, attach copies of the required travel document named on the list and confirm payment. Then click 'submit'.
  • Step 3 - Now just wait for the notification to arrive confirming delivery of the valid visa you need to enter Singapore.

The visa application must be completed before you receive your document, if you make an error and click 'accept' to finish you will not be able to apply for a new form while the current form is being processed. You'll have to wait until the old one is either accepted or declined to fill out a new form.

When you receive your travel document you should save the visa issued from the visa application in an easy-to-access place on your phone to present to airline staff at the check-in desk or in case any border control officials or immigration officers ask you for it.

Do I need a visa to travel to Singapore?

If you're a foreign citizen with a passport from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan then iVisa can help you complete this visa application to gain entry into Singapore. There are other countries whose passports provide foreign visitors with visa-free entry rights, however, requirements for international travel mean that the Singapore Visa is obligatory for those who need an entry visa. This pre-entry permission doesn't guarantee entry but it does bring those who seek entry a step closer to their dream of experiencing the culture and tourism that is exemplary of welcoming Singapore citizens.

Our Visa Checker tool which is at the top of this page is the best way to check whether you need a valid visa to get a stay granted.

What are the validity requirements for my passport?

In order to meet the passport requirements for this country, check the expiry date shown on the biodata page found at the back of your passport. Official travel documents should be valid for at least 6 months to have a smooth visit.

Do I need a Singapore visa to transit?

Visa services are not required for travelers transiting in Singapore, provided they have an onward ticket to their next destination, remain in the transit area of Changi Airport, and have their luggage checked to their final destination. Please note that visa-free transit is not available for travelers with low-cost airlines unless the connecting flight is on the same booking.

  • Passport scan
  • Airline confirmation (if applicable)
  • Travel Itinerary (if applicable)
  • Proof of Accommodation

Important Instructions

  • The Singapore eVisa is only for tourism purposes.

  • Travelers must have their passports with at least 6 months of validity from the date of arrival and have at least 1 page available for stamping.

  • The Singapore eVisa is valid for 63 days after issued and allows the holder a maximum stay of 30 days Per Entry. However, due to highly chances of rejection, we only process applications for tourists staying no more than 15 days Per Entry.

  • Having a Singapore eVisa does not provide an automatic right of entry into the country (also known as being granted an immigration pass). The Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officer at the port of entry may refuse entry to any person if they consider that a person is unable to fulfill the immigration requirements or that such person's presence in Singapore would be contrary to national interests or security.

  • A proof of accommodation is required to obtain the travel document. The dates in this document MUST match the travel dates selected in the application. This is a requirement that is demanded by the government in order to issue the travel document.

  • Please be aware that, due to frequent rejections of the Singapore Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, we are not accepting applications for women under 40 years old traveling alone.

  • iVisa is a legitimate company, accredited and recognized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). For more information, see the FAQs below.

Questions?

In the event of an error, the best thing to do is contact our customer service team. Our visa experts are available 24/7 and will gladly help resolve the problem.

With our iVisa experts reviewing all visa applications and accompanying documentation before submission, rejections are rare.

However, if government officials find any errors and reject your application, iVisa will refund your processing fee, and you will have the option to reapply for your Singapore e-visa.

NB: Government fees will not be refunded.

No, you do not need to apply for a new visa if your travel date to Singapore (entry into Singapore) is within the visa validity period.

To transfer your valid visa from your old travel document or passport to the new one with which you intend to travel to Singapore, you will need to visit an Authorized Visa Agent for assistance. You will also need to have the following supporting documents:

  • Your old and new travel documents (original and copy)

  • Printout of the valid visa

  • Form 14A duly completed and signed

  • Your recent passport-sized color photograph taken within the last three months

The Singapore Immigration Authority is in charge of deciding and granting valid Singapore visas, and as with any visa to any other country, possessing one does not guarantee a foreign national entry into the country.

Immigration Authority officers at the Singapore checkpoints get the final say on whether you can enter or not, and each case is considered on its own merits.

Refusals by the Immigration and Checkpoint Authorities are rare, and the reasons are not disclosed. However, some causes of rejection by the Immigration & Checkpoints authority include the following:

  • The applicant did something wrong during their previous stay in Singapore

  • The applicant has abused the visa regime or overstayed the permitted time during their previous stay

  • The applicant has another currently valid visa to Singapore

  • The applicant has already been refused a visa recently

  • The applicant has already applied for a visa with another agency

  • The photograph is not sharp or bright enough

Due to increased illegal activity by female tourists entering Singapore with a tourist visa, the ICA has become much stricter with the visa approval procedure.

At iVisa, we understand that your time is valuable, and we strive to provide you with the fastest service possible. Our processing times are estimated based on the average duration it takes governments to process visa applications. These estimated times begin from the moment we receive all the correct information for your application until you receive your visa. While we work diligently to expedite the process, it’s important to note that we are reliant on the processing times set by the government authorities.
