- Who it's for
- Travelers whose nationality is not on the UAE's visa-free or visa-on-arrival list, and who need an authorization approved before they fly. Citizens of the US, UK, EU countries and Australia are generally covered on arrival instead. GCC residents apply for their own separate eVisa.
- Permitted activities
- Tourism, business meetings and visiting family. It does not cover work or residence.
- Delivery format
- Your approved authorization arrives as a PDF by email. The UAE uses electronic gates, but it is worth printing a copy for your airline's check-in desk and for immigration if they ask.
- Transit and layovers
- If you stay airside on a short layover you do not need one. Once you want to leave the airport between flights, a dedicated transit visa covers that instead.
- Good to know
- Everyone traveling needs their own approval, children and infants included. A minor may also need a birth certificate and a consent letter when only one parent is along. Government fees are generally not refunded if an application is turned down.
- Validity

- Length of stay
- Stay up to 30 days in total
- Processing time

It was a good experience! Thank you so much! In my opinion a it was a good and easy and fast way obtaining my visa! I very much appreciate and I very happy with your service iVisa. I recommend you my friends! One case was I recommend my friend Rudy Miculax from Guatemala to use your service! Thank soo much!!
I was so worried that iVisa was a scam but it's indeed legitimate. I only had 1 full day to get my Dubai visa, and iVisa overdelivered because they were able to send it to me earlier than the set expectation! Thank you very much.
Never been so grateful to an app. All I can say is thank you for your help. I had a very smooth transaction with you guys. God bless!
Great experience with iVisa! The process was fast, simple, and stress-free. Everything felt genuine and professional from start to finish. I also appreciated that their prices were reasonable—not at the high end like some other services. Highly recommend!"
They accepted by application although they knew that I was going to miss my flight and I did! Their bot was saying one business day and their operators 3 days! All the time saying that I was going to hear shortly but shortly was almost 3 days! Very bad service overall. Their service cost me thousands of dollars in missed flights and accommodation.
Very quick turnaround - done within 24 hours for my Dubai visa.
Its too fast to process and getting dubai visa really quick. I surely use this ivisa apps again for sure if we travel outside the country. 💯 And thanks to the person online who made my visa real quick his name is "Jose" of ivisa.com
Excellent service so quick and professional would used them again for sure
The price is not that cheap comparing to the official website from Dubai but their website did not work properly so you have no other chance than to use other companies who need to take their own charges in order to exist as a company. So besides the price it was very easy to apply for the visa and we received it within 1 day although we did not choose the express but only the standard visa. Also the support was very helpful by telling immediately that the they need a new picture of the passport so everything was ready within 1 day.
I applied for UAE visa, and it came out in less than 72 hours. I checked it on UAE government website and it was legit because i was worried at first it might be a fake visa. I used it a week later to enter UAE and everything went well. This is not a fake review, I highly recommend using their services.
United Arab Emirates visa FAQs
Quick answers to the most common questions about the United Arab Emirates Tourist eVisa.
Still have questions?
Our visa experts are available 24/7 on chat, email, and WhatsApp.
Do I need a visa for the United Arab Emirates?
Most nationalities - including those from the US, UK, EU, and Australia - are eligible for visa-on-arrival or are visa-exempt for short stays. However, travelers from over 100 other countries must obtain an eVisa before departure. If you are a GCC resident, you may apply for a specific GCC Resident eVisa. Always check our visa checker tool to see the specific requirements for your nationality.
Can I get a Visa on Arrival instead of an United Arab Emirates Tourist eVisa?
Eligible citizens can get a 90-day multiple-entry visa (valid for 6 months from the date of issue), depending on your nationality, free of charge upon arrival. If your nationality isn't on the visa-free list, you must typically apply for your UAE Tourist eVisa online before you fly.
How will I receive the United Arab Emirates Tourist eVisa?
Your approved visa is sent as a PDF document to your email. While the UAE uses electronic gates, it is highly recommended to print a physical copy to show at the check-in desk of your airline and to immigration officers if requested. If you applied through iVisa, you'll also find a copy of your PDF in your dashboard.
Do I need a visa for a layover in Dubai or Abu Dhabi?
If you're a visa-required national and your layover is less than 8 hours and you remain in the transit area, you do not need a visa. For layovers between 8 and 96 hours, you should apply for a 96-hour Transit Visa. This allows you to leave the airport and explore the city before your onward flight.
How long can I stay in the United Arab Emirates?
The standard UAE eVisa is typically valid for stays up to 30 days from the date of issue, depending on your nationality and selection during the application process. There are also 60-day and 90-day options available.
Can I extend my stay in the United Arab Emirates?
Yes. Standard 30-day and 60-day tourist visas can be extended online through the official ICP portal without leaving the country. You must apply for the extension before your current visa expires to avoid daily overstay fines of AED 100.
What is the processing time for the United Arab Emirates Tourist eVisa?
Government processing usually takes between 3 to 6 business days. With iVisa, you choose your processing speed at checkout, and the option you pick is shown with its delivery time before you pay.
Do children/minors need a United Arab Emirates Tourist eVisa?
Yes. Every traveler, regardless of age, must have their own approved visa. For minors, you may be required to provide a birth certificate and a letter of consent if they are traveling with only one parent or a legal guardian. You can use iVisa's "Add another person" feature to manage the entire family's applications in one go.
What happens if my United Arab Emirates Tourist eVisa application is rejected?
Common reasons for rejection include low-quality document scans, a passport valid for less than 6 months, or having an existing valid visa. If rejected, iVisa can help you identify the error and reapply. Please note that government visa fees are generally non-refundable.
