Bermuda requires that travelers either be visa-exempt or hold a valid multiple-entry visa for the UK, US, or Canada, valid at least 45 days beyond your planned departure.
We thoroughly check your documents and travel plans and spot any discrepancies that might cause denial.
Although Bermuda doesn’t issue a visa itself, we’ll help you assemble the correct documents and advise on any pre-travel authorizations or arrival card requirements.
We’ll email your approved document(s) and let you know how to use it for your trip.
Purpose: The Bermuda Arrival Card is a mandatory digital form for all non-residents to provide required immigration, customs, and statistical information to the Bermuda Tourism Authority and Department of Immigration.
When to apply: It’s recommended to complete the form online anytime before departure, ideally within 48 hours of travel.
Duration and extensions: The card itself doesn't grant a stay; visitors are typically granted entry for up to 90 days (extendable to 180 days) by immigration officials at the port of entry. Extensions must be requested in person at the Department of Immigration in Hamilton.
Entries: A new Arrival Card is required for every entry into Bermuda.
Ports of entry: Mandatory for all non-residents arriving by air at L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA) or by private yacht at designated customs docks. Cruise ship passengers are currently exempt.
Delivery format: Upon successful submission, a PDF confirmation is sent via email. Travelers must present a digital or printed copy of this confirmation to immigration officers upon arrival.
Purpose: The UK Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is a mandatory digital travel authorization for visa-exempt nationals traveling to the United Kingdom for tourism, business meetings, short-term study, or transit.
When to apply: It’s recommended to apply at least a few days before your travel date. Most travelers receive a decision quickly, but applying in advance is advised.
Duration and extensions: The UK ETA is not extendable. If the validity period lapses or if you change passports, you will need to apply for a new UK ETA
Entries: Multiple entries, as long as the ETA and the passport it’s linked to remain valid.
Ports of entry: Any official United Kingdom port of entry.
Delivery format: An approved ETA is electronically linked to your passport and exists only as a digital record, without any physical document, sticker, stamp, or visa vignette.
Purpose: The UK Standard Visitor Visa allows eligible travelers to visit the United Kingdom for tourism, business meetings, short courses, or family visits. A valid multiple-entry UK visa that has already been used to enter the UK may also allow entry to the British Virgin Islands for short stays.
When to apply: It’s recommended to apply at least 4 to 6 weeks before your planned travel date.
Duration and extensions: The visa is typically valid for 6 months, 2 years, 5 years, or 10 years, depending on what is granted. Each visit is generally limited to up to 6 months.
Entries: Issued as a multiple-entry visa.
Ports of entry: Any official United Kingdom port of entry.
Delivery format: This is a physical visa vignette placed in your passport. Applicants must attend a biometric appointment as part of the process.
Bermuda doesn't issue its own visitor visas. Instead, nationals from "visa-controlled" countries must possess a valid Multiple Re-entry Visa (MRV) for the USA, Canada, or the UK. This MRV must be valid for at least 45 days beyond the intended departure date from Bermuda. It’s for tourists and business travelers who'd otherwise require a visa to enter those gateway countries.
