Curaçao’s visa policy depends on your nationality, the purpose of your visit, and how long you plan to stay. Citizens from visa-exempt countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, most EU nations, Canada, Japan, and Australia, can enter Curaçao without a visa for up to 90 days within 180 days. U.S. and Dutch citizens can stay up to 180 days per calendar year without a visa.
Travelers from visa-required countries must apply for a Tourist Visa in advance through a Dutch embassy or consulate. All air travelers must complete the Curaçao Immigration Card and Passenger Locator Card online at least 48 hours before departure. This form is mandatory and must be presented with a valid passport upon arrival. A residence permit is required for those planning to stay longer than 90 days, or 180 days in the case of U.S. and Dutch citizens. Curaçao offers long-term work, study, retirement, and investment visa options.
Each option has eligibility criteria, such as financial documentation, enrollment letters, or local sponsorship. If arriving from a high-risk country, entry requirements may include proof of onward travel, valid health insurance, and a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
Applying for a visa on your own can be confusing and time-consuming. iVisa simplifies the process, reduces errors, and gives you peace of mind
