I Was Skeptical Quite candidly, I was skeptical about the iVisa service. All the previous information that I had been getting about obtaining a visa for my upcoming trip was confusing, and sounded time consuming. iVisa was clear and straightforward, and when I called to speak to someone to confirm what I needed to do (just because I was skeptical), the agent was helpful and patient. I will definitely use them again and refer them to others.
I needed an Indian visa on short notice, and iVisa offered two days processing instead of the four I would have had to wait if I went through the Indian gvt. Whilst the price was steep, they absolutely delivered. I got my visa cleared even a few hours before my 2day deadline, despite it being a weekend! I was doubly impressed as I was half-expecting it to be a scam and for me to be ripped off. Order form was super simple to use and instructions clear and explicit. We first tried to apply for a visa through the Indian Government site. The site kept timing out and it was so frustrating that we gave up. Also, the governments 24/7 support line is answered by a machine then you get ‘unsupported selection’ no matter which number you select to move on to speak to a person. After trying out the Indian official website unsuccessfully, I searched for valid Indian visa help. I applied at iVisa hesitatingly, after reading that there are several fake websites offering the services. I was really surprised (pleasantly) by their utra-prompt service, fast communication, and super-fast visa approval process. I applied for e-tourist visa. It got delivered in 2 days, and on a Sunday. Let me start with the fact that I have been through more than 25 Immigration services across the world to get visa for different nations and hands down this is one of the best services you can imagine for getting a visa (specifically to India). The peace of mind you get with this is no match for the 30$ fee they charge. I highly recommend for anyone visiting India to use this service especially for someone who is short on time (I got it for my son in 3 days, 2 amongst those were holidays so technically 1 business day). Also, this looks to be far better than a paper based visa where you have to collect a ton of paperwork, fingerprints (if you have an infant which was my case), notary and so on.
