The first part is easy. I thought the process was finished and then you ask to download passport AND photo, which was not easy to do. Especially the photo part. If you're a elderly person it is not easy at all. Almost impossible.
It was no easy handling by writing up the Dokuments. Additional dont I know why I have to pay 228 € for two ETA .
Very fussy requirements ...ie; no shadows/highlights on pictures...not too dark, not too light etc...made for a frustrating experience overall. Not user friendly in my opinion.
I had to start over several times as I lost the whole thing. Could have been my iPad or just the operator (me!)
I did not know how to Scan my passport and picture. I had to have another person do it and they had difficulty doing it. They had trouble taking the picture. It kept saying reflection and there was no light. Then once the picture was accepted they had trouble sending it together.
It's compulsory so recommending the app is pointless I found it quite difficult to navigate - tutorials should be hyperlinked rather than taking up the screen. ON a phone, I didn't see the X to minimise the tutorials!
The passport and picture uploading was a challenge. It keep not accepting the photo. The process took over a week and it finally seem to accept everything.
It took me over an hour to uploading images I found difficult but my age and technology probably more the problem. For a person used to this way of working probably would have no problem. Duplicate information too.
I applied for a 4 hour expedited Visa through your company on the morning of Friday 28 Feb prior to getting on the plane for the UK. During the next 24 hours I contacted your service team 4 times who were unable to provide me with the approved Visa and or any credible updates of the process. Your support team was courteous and usually replied well within your 15 minute window. My concern with your company is the posted guarantees of expedited Visa’s when in actual fact they have no control as to when the specific government is going to approve said Visa. I rated the experience as 3 stars, though I was frustrated and spent a lot of my personal time trying to get answers your company was professional, polite and honoured my request for a refund regards the expediting fail. For that I am grateful and impressed with your level of customer service. In closing my Visa was final approved on 03 March.
need to have site take you from one step to the next.
The website is difficult to navigate with regard to uploading pictures etc. Not everyone is familiar with that - and why do you need a photo when there are 2 on the US passport? There is some inconsistency in the data regarding pricing that is available.
The camera feature had a hard time taking a picture of the passport that the site would accept
you should explain at the beginning that it is impossible to submit photos with eyeglasses. It took me one hour till I got it.
The instructions on attaching a photo from a cell phone did not appear on the first two tries. On the third try, the options popped up and made it easy.
I was blindsided by the need for this. It seems like a money grab and completely unnecessary and expensive.
Not very user friendly For those of us that are not familiar with tech it was a nightmare.
Site is not easy to work with unless you are tech savvy. Should contain a list of everything you need PRIOR to starting process.
I was unable to download my visa and the emails with the code disappeared
Taking good pictures was hard for me because both of my hands have tremors, and unfortunately no one was around to take them for me. That’s all. Everything else was A breeze.
Couldn’t easily navigate between screens and know where I was in the process. I’ll stick uncertain.
Would have been a better experience if the acceptance of the scanned documents was simpler. What ever we uploaded was not "clear enough" or some other issue
It was not quick and easy. I had to reload our passports so many times I was ready to throw a brick at my computer screen.
The cost is not shown right from the start. I thought it was a government website.
I filled in the initial form and that seemed to indicate a successful submission. However, I subsequently received an email that indicated that I needed to fill in additional information . passport photo . photo of myself After actioning these requests, the submission was successful. This two-stage process is confusing I am sure that i did not miss it first time through the form
This is a blatant money grubbing scheme. You guys wouldn’t need it if you hadn’t left the EU.
The price was high. Was expecting $100.Its a good idea to get people through lines.
Helpful person guided me through the process. Very very expensive for the service. Should be half the amount at most.
Completing the survey was quick and easy. I was surprised by the cost. It was my understanding that the ETA visa cost 10 bps per person. However, there is an additional processing charge when checking out, which made the total cost for my husband and myself more than $300 Canadian.
Hard to navigate. Had to go back quite a few times and start over.
Had a difficult time filling out what was needed. Was not clear on what you wanted
The choice for phone messages combined notices with adds, necessitating going back in to stop the on-slot of advertisements! Photo is hard to line up on the phone-- much easier on New Zealand--and lousy quality/not like a selfi. Many of us had to scan (by Photo) multiple time --site rejected " shadows " when there were NONE. Toward the end, page indicates 2 items to be scanned; it's hard to get back for the 2nd/ glitchy.
I receive on average 2 emails a day from ivisa stating that their is a problem with my passport kit. Also I could not get the postage label to be printed at the post office as their system could not scan the QR code
The photo recognition is too sensitive, had to take multiple pictures. Said picture was not flat, but it was, ended up doing some cropping and it finally took it. Recommending this site is useless, if you want to go to the UK you have to use this site.
Very confusing. They would accept my photos and then they would say missing. I was having a hard time uploading. After they said it was good I took another picture and before I could try and upload it was accepted.
Questions were handled, but not clearly. I had to upload a non-passport photo for each of us, when all I was told at the outset was to take a photo of the first passport page. We went back and forth for a long time. Also, the cost is very high. I thought it was supposed to be a $15 fee or so.
I was surprised at the cost. I was under the impression it would cost 10 pounds each so the $100+ was disappointing. I had checked a few other websites and this is where I got the 10 pounds. I figured that all the providers would cost the same.
I did not realize that I could obtain our ETAs for the UK without paying the additional $196(ish) in fees. I am not sure what service I received that was worth the additional fees.
There were many rejections of photos and passport resulting in wasted time.
I think the value of (standard fee) charged by your service is very expensive! Standard ..... BRL 618.67
The requirement makes zero common sense for an airline passenger transiting within the airport to be required to have a visa for the several hours stay in the lounge before the long-haul flight.
I Visa works well if you know how to use the mobile app. You need to save an exit the screen once you upload your documents. The fact that you have to exit the screen and then continue to the next screen is not explained.
Had to make multiple attempts to get downloaded photos accepted and ultimately required customer service assistance.
I found it very difficult to arrive at the point when I could take or upload photos.
I found the app very difficult to understand and use. I had to take and retake photos multiple times. As it turns out the British Government has rescinded the requirement to do this based on just passing through (cruise ship to airport). I should get all my charges refunded. I feel like I was duped.
The auto system approved passport and photo id and then i had to go into a 3 day email session with someone who didnt like the submissions. If the system is faulty, fix it. Also, correction notice and email response initially went to my junk file until I fixed it at my end. Not everyone checks their junk file. fix it.
I didn’t like that when you went back to add some missing items that you basically had to start over and couldn’t just go to where you needed to add missing info. Should be able to pick up where you left off. Especially if you add a picture that isn’t acceptable you can’t just go back to that place. Really a time waster.
The cost is advertising as 10 pounds and there is no mentioned of any further cost which was a surprise to us. There is no cost shown before you start to fill form in
I took many attempts before the images of passports were accepted. It seems as though there are bugs if you try to upload images. Finally had success by using the QR code, but that still had issues. eg My partner wears glasses in passport photo, no mention in comments on your system. But my passport photo errored numerous times with glasses comment and I dont wear glasses. this is one example of many varied errors that we encountered.
Had to do the process twice and paid twice. Did not get a response for 2-3 weeks the first time. The second time I got the approval immediately
Too expensive for departing a cruise & getting to airport. Then I scanned/took a picture a passport 5 times before it was accepted. Also thought start date would be arrival date, not 7 months early when it is only good for 2 years total!
