How does the Oman eVisa work?

In 2018, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced a new online system for visitors to apply for their tourist visas . This new online visa system is intended to facilitate the process for tourists traveling to Oman and to reduce the wait time at the arrival terminal. The eVisa system is an online method of applying for visas for entry from anywhere in the world. Some advantages of this system are that visas can be applied for quickly over the Internet at any time and from any location.

How long does it take to apply for an Oman eVisa?

It is very simple and easy to apply. Just 10 minutes of your time will be enough to complete all the application form. We handle the rest and we will send you your eVisa via email in the timeframe you chose.

How is composed the online application form?

The application consists of three easy steps:

  1. The first step will ask you to fill in your general information. You also need to choose the processing time from the options mentioned above.

  2. The second step will ask you to revise step one and make the payment.

  3. Third, answer a questionnaire and upload a photo. Then add your passport scan along with the other documents (that may be required as well, but it depends on personal circumstances.)

How do I know if my visa is approved?
