How to get an Uzbekistan eVisa

For travelers from countries not covered by the visa-free regime, Uzbekistan offers an eVisa system.

Available to citizens of over 50 countries, this electronic visa allows travelers to apply online without needing to visit an embassy or consulate.

Step 1: Visit the official Uzbekistan eVisa portal or simply fill out your travel info and basic details on our website or mobile app.

Step 2: Pay the visa fee using your preferred online payment method.

Step 3: Upload a recent passport-sized photo and other required documents, like a copy of your passport (if applicable).

You'll receive the approved eVisa within 2-3 business days.

The eVisa is typically valid for 30 days and can be issued for a single-, double-, or multiple entries, depending on your travel plans. This option is ideal for tourists and business travelers looking for a hassle-free entry process.

Pro tip from Femke: "Make sure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates to avoid issues during the application process."

Tips for a smooth visa application and trip to Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is a welcoming country, but many travelers are uncertain about what to expect when they arrive in the country. Here are some tried-and-tested tips from travelers and our visa experts.

Michael Angelo from the Project Kosmos shares:

"Short lines at the airport, no questions, and I could enter visa-free. Security was minimal too. Just be careful about the price gauging by the airport taxis!"

Sarah T. from the United States recommends:

"The government eVisa website lacks comprehensive language support, making it difficult for non-English speakers to navigate the application process. I used iVisa instead, it was perfect"

Dilana M. from Colombia shares the following tip:

"Ensure that your U.S. dollar bills are in excellent condition. A store refused to accept a note with a minor stamp on the side."
