We first tried to apply for a visa through the Indian Government site. The site kept timing out and it was so frustrating that we gave up. Also, the governments 24/7 support line is answered by a machine then you get ‘unsupported selection’ no matter which number you select to move on to speak to a person. I never imagined that it is so easy to get an Indian visa. When I looked at the 9 pages of application form from the Indian official cite, I was worried. But Ivisa group made it so simple!
when i filled out application it did not mentions my passport details. Then you emailed me to provide them but the web site did not allow me to change application with the details. This went on for a week. Then I was emailed to provide passport details with a photo as a attachment to a return email. I did this and now it's alright. Luckily I had plenty of time weeks before my flight. Mark

After trying out the Indian official website unsuccessfully, I searched for valid Indian visa help. Let me start with the fact that I have been through more than 25 Immigration services across the world to get visa for different nations and hands down this is one of the best services you can imagine for getting a visa (specifically to India). The peace of mind you get with this is no match for the 30$ fee they charge. I highly recommend for anyone visiting India to use this service especially for someone who is short on time (I got it for my son in 3 days, 2 amongst those were holidays so technically 1 business day). Also, this looks to be far better than a paper based visa where you have to collect a ton of paperwork, fingerprints (if you have an infant which was my case), notary and so on.
