The online visa application was relatively simple. A little initial confusion over passport vs personal photos. The tutorial videos were helpful. A very quick response and emails to keep you up to date.
Easy process, w/one exception: I had to try at least 7 million times to upload a photo of my passport. Maybe 8 million, actually. ;)
Information was good although a little frustrating sometimes but overall followed prompts and result was achieved.
It was fine until I had to take a photo of myself. That was very frustrating, because photos that I like, where I am smiling, don't fit the criteria. And so I had to send a photo that fit the criteria, but I don't think it represents how I look most of the time. At any rate, the staff kept trying to assist me, which was good.
Getting through Stansted was no issue. Getting my old visa upgraded was easy
I required assistance, and Rita was very helpful. The instructions, when completing the sections, were clear and precise.
It was all straight forward & quick. The only problem I had was afterwards with the App.
uploading passport and photos multiple times and receiving repeated requests to do so after being told all was complete. most everything else worked just fine
The site was easy to use but getting the photo correct was a bit tricky Overall it was easy and was approved very quickly
I need this to go to Rome Italy ETA but the cost was way different what we where told
I found the process very difficult. Not easy to send scan of passport
It was very easy to follow and steps to use phone are much better than most of other application.
I had a good experience. I wish that prior to starting the application there would have been an "Items you should gather before you start" section that included the tutorials. If there were, I would have assembled the required portrait photos and passport photos in advance. Time to complete the application would have been shortened.
Downloading the passport was a hassle. Misleading cost of $12.42 and then nearly $100 processing fee.
It‘s charges are excessive when most of the work is done by the customer
I like online services in general and this one was no exception. However, my husband and I must have submitted at least 10 photos of our passports before they were finally accepted. Very exhausting!
It took several attempts to get an acceptance of the photo of my passport
There was a problem with them reading my passport. Said it was covered with plastic (which it was not). Took me 3 times to have them finally accept it.
Pretty easy to navigate and apply. However, I think it might be a bit troublesome, as most website are, for older people. I did my dad’s myself to help out.
I was not pleased with the cost for the administrative charges to receive a Visa. Not happy to pay this just to pas through the UK on our trip to Europe and not even leave the airport. Have gotten visa from AUS and not even close to this charge. Process to get the visa was ok.
I found the hole experience to be quite good I had to do my photo a few times but I got there in the end
Website is pretty straightforward. Make sure your photos are perfect before uploading. And I mean perfect. It took me several tries before my passport page photo was accepted. Otherwise, a good site and good service.
It was an easy site to use, but I have two items I think need changed. 1st item, on the home page have a check list of everything you will need to fill out the forms. 2nd item, make it one complete form so a person can fill it out all in one sitting.
Accessing the iVisa was very easy to use. However, I had to stop several times to make sure I had all my documents. If I could have known "what" I was going to need before starting the application process, I would have been better prepared. What I needed was not difficult, just not handy when I started the application process.
I thought, it was going to be challenging with a long processing times
Ease of completing the process online. Quick response regarding visa application approval.
Actually downloaded app by mistake but did not realize it until it was too late. So continued to use it.
The steps are pretty straightforward. Had issues getting the picture of my passport to work, first it was not flat, then it was too glossy. Finally, the third one worked. Same thing with the photo that you have to provide of yourself. Took three tries before it would accept the photo. Also was a little surprised as I had heard originally that it was only a $12 fee it’s $112 which is significantly different
The process was straight forward. Approval was quick as long as you followed the prompts as requested. Thankyou
Quick responses at every step of the process were appreciated. I also like thr friendly, casual messages. Not too formal and officious.
Easy to follow website although I did have some trouble uploading my passport
Your site was easy to use for the most part. But I did have a few issues with the passport section. The original photo's I used for my family said it was good when I uploaded them, but all five were kicked back 15 minutes later. The email that told me I had an error gave me an example of a US passport, but the picture it sent me was incorrect as well. It showed a picture of two pages (top and bottom of the same page) the signature page and the photo and information page. The WhatsApp texted from Maria telling me of the error gave me an example of a Canada passport card, so I tried it again with only the photo and information page and it went thru. I have used the same photos for our cruise identification, and other websites needing our passport without an issue. As I am sure you are aware the US passports are on glossy paper, so if you do not have a scanner, it is difficult to get a bright non-glare photo. I am not saying a glare that blurs out the photo or other information. There was a glare that was on the information, but it was still able to be read. Maybe loosen up a little on that type of thing and use a better example of a US passport. I had to take several pictures of each id to get a good enough for your site to accept.
Some instructions confusing. Operating the app is straight forward when you understand the process but getting to k now the process is not intuitive.
Very quick - hard to get photo accepted - including one from a professional photographer. It was difficult to let you know that I couldn't proceed before i received my passport back from embassy
iVisa kept bugging me that my application wasn't complete. It took me three days to act on it.
I was pleased with the service from the sales representative, but the waiting period is quite long.
it was simple but the the downloading was difficult…took several tries & started to feel complicated!
Be Patient - Website not too difficult to follow (I'm 73 and not particularly tech savvy)
Fast. Easy to follow. Need to provide more explanation of what user keystrokes/responses will do. Need more explanation of where user is going, what they are doing. Crime question needs to be re-written.
It was very fast and easy. Maybe I could have done it cheaper directly though.
Generally easy, yet the app was a little confusing when I was doing it for 2 people. Perhaps a little more instruction would help
It took a few times to site to except photo and passport information. But once it did was a very fast response
The experience had great instructions and moving from page to page was easy
The company were quick on replying to any questions. Done thw job in good time.
The process was simple and quick. It was tricky getting my passport picture correct and the picture of me
I've had many problems which started with my phone's tech challenges. While I had approximately 30 texts & emails, ultimately my problem was satisfactoreily settled. However, I requested speaking with a human, which proved to be and this was not addressed. This might have efficiently saved the time-consuming back and forth. Next VISA should be easier!
Company followed up to make sure I was successful when I applied for a UK document in January of '25.
The website is not the easiest to navigate .. but customer service reached out and I finally got it done
The process was fairly simple. The only issue I had was the picture taking. I understand it needs to be done but I guess maybe the older generation needs a simpler way ( though it pains me to say that). The swiftness of receiving the visa was excellent Used system Sunday January 12
Passport picture process a little complicated because of having 4 months left before renewal. No where to indicate the time frame of your visit.
