Learn More: ETIAS
The ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is an electronic travel authorization required for all travelers who want to visit the Schengen Zone and who are allowed to enter without a visa. The ETIAS is part of a completely electronic system that enables officials to better monitor travel within the Schengen area. The ETIAS is valid for three years or until the expiration of the holder’s passport.
WHO CAN ENTER NORWAY WITH THE ETIAS
All citizens of the 62 countries who are able to enter visa-free into the Schengen Zone will be obliged to obtain ETIAS authorization before entering any country in this zone.
OBTAIN THE NORWAY ETIAS
To get your ETIAS, you’ll need to fill out our short online application and provide personal information, number of passport or other travel document, and name of the first Schengen Zone member state you will enter.
DISPLAY YOUR ETIAS
Once your application is approved, you’ll receive your travel authorization by email. We recommend saving both an electronic and hard copy to show to airport officials prior to boarding.

The Scandinavian piece of heaven on earth is adorned with an abundance of stunning natural beauty. Norway has an amazing outdoor culture. It demands to be explored now whether you do it on foot, on bicycle or train, it doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is that you are out there, exploring the country and filling your heart with unforgettable memories. The Norwegians are extremely proud of their culture and they showcase their love for art through museums, theatre, and multiple festivals. There are many challenging treks around the country but start your journey by visiting the Besseggen Ridge which commands special respect. It is a 9-hour long trek and is going to test your stamina and strength. However, it is going to reward you with mind-blowing imagery along the way. Another trek that is going to test your determination is the one that takes you to Nigardsbreen Ice Cave, which is inside the Jostedal glacier. It is a surreal world. The diffused light bounces in all directions inside the cave.
Next, visit the Lyngen Alps to feel the wind streaming through your hair. It will fulfill your desire for some of the best skiing in Norway. You can try out ice climbing and you may also head out on an exciting snow safari. Visit the Steinsdalsfossen Waterfall, which is a 50-meter high luscious waterfall on the Fosselva river and there is also provision for you to walk behind the waterfall. When in Norway, do not forget to visit the Arctic Circle by any means. It is going to be the coolest thing that you can do when in the country. It’s easy to get there as most of the country sits inside the circle and trust us when we say this that you are going to get the best views of the Midnight Sun and the Northern Lights from here. The essence of Norway’s tourism comes from the Norwegian concept of ‘Kos’. In its traditional sense, Kos conveys a sense of extreme comfort, a hot fireplace, and food and drink in abundance. It covers every essence of a family gathering and a hot cup of coffee which is enjoyed with a freshly baked cinnamon bun.
Tourism in Norway gives you a taste of unforgettable adventure at some of its best and most iconic geological formations. You may take a walk on Trolltunga (Troll’s Tongue) and stand on the Kjeragbolten, which is a giant boulder standing 1000 meters above the ground. Those who are seeking the utmost fun can visit the Preikestolen (Preacher’s Rock) for base jumping.
Norwegian food has simple recipes and hearty portions. More than taste, the freshness matters. Seafood is the cuisine’s staple and meat is also a major part of the diet here. You will find Norway’s favorite brown cheese, which is an acquired taste, here. When in Norway, you must try the local dishes like pickled herring, potato lefse, salmon, and fermented freshwater trout fillets. Try the popular afternoon snack called Svele. It almost looks like a pancake and served along with sweet syrup or butter. If you want to try caviar, Norway packs it easily within a tube. All you have to do is squeeze it out of the toothpaste-like tube. You can always get familiar food but we suggest you don’t shy away from the local delicacies. The best way to remember your trip to Norway is to bring home some souvenirs from the country. The Bryggerkka flea market is the best place to buy souvenirs. It offers souvenirs ranging from Viking drinking bowls to troll figurines. Go to Vikings Market to buy traditional Vikings crafts. You will find a variety of art and crafts which are made of wood, ceramic, textiles, glass, leather, wicker, and paper. If you are looking for more familiar things to buy, head to the malls or shopping centers.
