What you need to know

  • Only nationals from Taiwan can apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) for the Philippines instead of a Standard Visa.

  • The Philippines eTA allows applicants multiple entries in the country and a maximum stay of 30 days.

  • You can use this eTA for tourism, business, attending a conference, or visiting a relative or friend.

  • If you want to travel to the Philippines for work or studies, you cannot apply for this eTA.

  • You need to have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival and with at least 1 page available for stamping to apply.

  • Upon arrival in the Philippines, you will have to present your biometric passport along with your eTA, which has to be printed.

  • Having an eTA for the Philippines does not give you an automatic right of entry to the country. The Immigration Officer at the port of entry is the one who will decide if you fulfill the requirements.

  • iVisa is a legitimate company, accredited and recognized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). For more information, see the FAQs below.
