I am thinking to to attend the 2027 International Mycological Congress (IMC13) to be held in Incheon, South Korea from August 15 to August 19, 2027. When and where I can apply to take visa how months before? Thanks in advance.

You can apply for a South Korea short-term (C-3) visa for conferences or business visits.

We recommend applying at the nearest embassy or consulate of South Korea

It’s best to apply about 2 to 3 months before your trip, so around May or June 2027, and you will need:

•A valid passport (that has at least six months of validity)

• Completed visa form

• Recent photo that meets the required dimensions

• Flight and hotel details

• Invitation letter from the conference organizers
