Singapore visa for Indian citizens
A visa is required before you fly. Where to apply in India, how long it takes, and when you can transit visa-free.

Singapore visa requirements for Indian citizens
Indian citizens need a visa to enter Singapore, and there is no visa on arrival: ICA does not accept visa applications at its immigration counters, and Singapore's Consulate-General in Mumbai states that an Indian traveler without a valid Singapore visa who is not eligible for the Visa-Free Transit Facility will not be allowed to enter. In India, Singapore's missions accept applications only through their authorised visa agents, not walk-ins; a sponsor in Singapore with a Singpass account can also apply online for you. iVisa does not process the Singapore visa itself; once your visa is approved, we can take care of your SG Arrival Card.
Singapore visa (e-Visa): submitted by an authorised visa agent of the Singapore mission that covers your state, or online by a sponsor in Singapore. Missions in India process applications in 3 to 5 working days.
SG Arrival Card: the online arrival and health declaration every Indian traveler who clears immigration submits in the 3 days before arrival, in addition to the visa; airside transit passengers don't need one.

Very easy at gate. NOTE HOWEVER as you enter Singapore immediately before the gate , a huge sign indicates that all entrants (including Singapore citizens) must fill in the entry form. We started doing this not knowing that we were simply duplication the i-visa we had completed on line. The notice was misleading - we could have gone straight through (which we eventually did).
I appreciate simple and straightforward instructions especially when it involves visas etc
iVisa was an easy online process but took a little extra time than the 24 hour standard process so would recommend taking this into account.
The link via their website was easy to follow. We filled in while awaiting departure for Singapore. We probably should have done it earlier but we had no issues.
It was so easy and so quick and I didn’t have to fill in a form
It was a bit pricey compared to doing it yourself, which would not cost much. However, the process can be quite time-consuming. I used this service because I needed urgent entry approval for Singapore. I submitted my application while on the plane, and by the time I arrived at the airport, it had already been approved. No complaints at all. The service was fast, efficient, and reliable.
Some items are not clearly explained , they are confusing and prone to causing misunderstandings. for example, during the validity period of the arrival card, can transit passengers holding passport from visa-free countries to enter and exit the airport multiple times.
the process of ivisa was a straight forward, and easy to understand. it is also very quick
Easy to use and the option of how quickly you require your visa.
Site was easy to use, easy to upload documents and regular updates sent.

Yes. India is on ICA's list of countries whose nationals need a visa to enter Singapore. The only exception is a short transit under the Visa-Free Transit Facility, for travelers who meet its conditions.
Can Indians get a visa on arrival in Singapore?
No. ICA does not accept visa applications at its immigration counters, and Singapore's Consulate-General in Mumbai says an Indian traveler without a valid visa who isn't eligible for the transit facility will not be allowed to enter.
Where do Indians apply for a Singapore visa?
Through an authorised visa agent of the Singapore mission that covers your state; the missions don't take walk-in applications. The Consulate-General in Mumbai covers Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat and Odisha, the Consulate-General in Chennai has agents in Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad, and the High Commission in New Delhi appoints agents for its region. A sponsor in Singapore with a Singpass account can also apply online.
How long does a Singapore visa take from India?
Generally 3 to 5 working days, according to the High Commission in New Delhi and the Consulate-General in Mumbai. Mumbai counts working days excluding the day of submission, weekends and holidays.
Can Indians transit Singapore without a visa?
Yes, for up to 96 hours, if you qualify for the Visa-Free Transit Facility. You need a visa or long-term pass for Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the UK or the US with at least one month's validity, and an onward air, ferry or cruise ticket leaving Singapore within 96 hours. You can arrive by any mode of transport, but you must leave by air or sea. The stay can't be extended.
