When should I apply for the Australia eVisa?

You can submit your application for the eVisa from Australia, 12 months prior to your travel date up until a couple of days before. With iVisa you can process last-minute requests in no time.

What is an Australian ETA?

An Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), unlike a traditional visa, this travel document is electronically linked to your passport. It is required for entrance into Australia and should be obtained pre-travel, iVisa offers a great and easy-to-use service to obtain your ETA!

How long is the Australian ETA valid for?

The ETA has a validity of 1 year after issued.

Also, visitors carrying an Australian ETA can enter the country for a maximum of 90 days Per Entry, they also have Multiple Entry.

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: All visits are strictly limited to business or tourism, this means you can NOT seek paid work or employment during your stay with an ETA.

What are the documents required to apply?

We require the following to submit your application:

  • Passport – the general requirement is that your passport needs to be valid for three months after your visa expires.

  • A passport scan – we only need the information page of your passport.

  • E-mail address – when applying with iVisa, your visa will be sent to you via e-mail, so make sure that you introduce a valid e-mail address you have access to.

  • Means of payment – iVisa accepts multiple methods of payment such as credit and debit cards. Do not forget to double-check the spelling before submitting your application.

What are the processing times and prices?

For the processing time of your ETA, we offer three different options:

  • Standard processing – your ETA application is processed within 2 days, and the price is USD $67.06 (service fees included).

  • Rush processing – you will receive your ETA within 24 hours, and the total price of it is USD $113.06 (service fees included).

  • Super rush processing – this is the fastest option. You will get your ETA in only 6 hours, and you will be charged USD $168.06 (service fees included).

How does the Australian ETA work?

The ETA system was introduced in 1996, providing authorization to travel to Australia and is electronically linked to your passport. While checking in at the airport for your Australian-bound flight, the check-in staff can electronically confirm that you have authorization to board the flight to Australia. The Australian ETA is available to citizens of over 50 countries.

What happens after I have applied?
